It's like trying to choose which vegetable to have shoved up your arse....
I'd choose a carrot ahead of a marrow there mate. Corbyn's the carrot, Johnson a great big pumpkin.
Each to their own but if you can't get behind this Labour manifesto then i'd question if you've ever been a true Labour supporter. To vote for the Tories, out of a dislike for Corbyn, absolutely baffles me.
And this^^^^

The manifesto seems to be unrealistic though. As me Dad always says "if sounds to good to be true....". He knows his only chance is by putting a dent in the Tory majority and has offered a fantasy to do it. I think anyone believing that they can actually deliver what's been promised is a little gullible.

If not for the independence issue I’d be voting SNP, as Sturgeon (independence aside) is probably the least ghastly of the leaders. As it stands, she is taking the position that a vote for SNP is a vote for Indyref2 so I’ll be voting Labour.
I'm hoping this isn't a stupid question, I just wanted to check, but are the SNP only contesting seats in Scotland?

It's been fully costed and it's not as if it is to be all implemented by Christmas. It's a long term plan for the better of this country. I would agree though that a Labour majority is virtually impossible and many of the things in the manifesto would be irrelevant as part of any coalition. I see it as a manifesto full of hope, whereas others see it as fantasy.

Exactly this. Just ignore the people and look at the policies. You're voting for the direction you want to see the country as a whole take. We all live in the society we create, I'd prefer that society to be one where we look out for one another.

Think of it as a vote for Labour, not a vote for Corbyn.

No party delivers exactly what is in their manifesto.

For years we screamed out that there wasn't a cigarette paper to separate the main parties, now there's a screaming chasm. If it means we ultimately have to dip in and pay out 1p or 2p more in Income tax but we bring social care services up to the standard our old folks deserve, we give pensioners the money they were promised, we stop foreign (forrins iirc) governments and companies siphoning off billions of our money through the privatisation of utilities which were taken away from us in the first place because the market knew best, we give our kids the schools and teachers they need to prepare them for life in the modern world, then that's a price worth paying.

To be fair any fooker could get into Government and splash the cash - the problem is not bankrupting the country in the process. A bit of balance is required, as we can't just keep shaking the magic money tree every time we need more cash.....

Found this good. Voting for my local Green Party, their heart is in the right place at least. One or two more Green seats can only be a good thing in my opinion.

anybody else still undecided who to vote for, piss poor leaders on both sides , have Never voted tory before but find Corbyn way too left wing , but boris comes across as a complete tool , lib dem seems a wasted vote also and dont warm to that Jo Swinson atall

gonna be a flip of a coin
Which policies are too left wing?
Boris all the way, Corbyn will be far more dangerous as PM and could do irreparable damage to the country.

I'm the same boat as OP, never voted Tories in 20 years of voting but will do this time.
Fuck me

In what way? Because he wants the wealthy to pay a little more so that the gulf in living standards and the lack of public services, due to Tory cuts, are addressed a little? Are you against that principle? If it was somebody a bit more sleek and polished but with the same message would it be better? I'm struggling to find a reason, other than sheer greed, that anybody would be against that basic principle.
