He could do worse than appointing his fellow South American Gustavo Poyet. Currently out of work and at least his preferred style of football is far more likely to produce dividends with the players we have at present.

I like Poyet and whilst he would certainly be an improvement on Parkinson (not hard), do you think we have the players capable of playing his style of football?

Sharon is still there, she’s great but TD was the driving force behind it and I don’t think local businesses will have the same interest when he’s not there.

Shes lovely Sharon.
I just felt that while it was a great ‘jolly’ there was very little business took place.
Methven spouted he was eager to speak to all businesses yet safc were about the only member to ignore an intro!

it's ironic that he says we know nothing about running a business when he's been holding he reigns at a time when we have the worst team and worst league position at any time in our history... then it's fair to say southerners know fuck all about football

No need to mix Southerners up with Methvan.

Would he get that time from the fans in the current climate?
You used to have a bit of nous about you but you seem to just blindly defend the club at any opportunity whilst hoying sly digs at the fans.

Playing the loans down.

Playing down the parachute money dissapearance as an unfortunate communication blip by donald.

Claiming they held off selling the club to protect the clubs interests.

Feet firmly under the table it seems.

What would you know about being a fan?

I think that most sensible supporters will realise that any kind of success this season is now very unlikely. If anyone was to come in and show that they can get the players improving, make the right additions to fit into the team and have a defined style about them which matches the players available to us, then they would be given time. There’s always going to be those who think you can make a change and expect instant results but the real world isn’t like that. Some people will never be happy but the majority would see improvement if it was happening and give a new man time to make things work.
PP wasn’t the right choice but if he improved things he would’ve been given time to build properly even if it took time to do so I think.

I was thinking more that every successive failure seems to reduce any honeymoon period. Mind you, Parkinson's was probably the first negative honeymoon period in football history - he'd have needed Klopp-like form to get past that.
😂 back to your comfort zone in the warm embrace of the safc propaganda brigade.

OK. Off to the bozo bin you go, I'd gladly drop to L2 if it meant people like you fucked off once and for all.

Your not wrong in that we’ve been shit on for so long we seem to be just waiting for the next kick in the teeth. However I look back to Alardyce for proof that even when there’s not instant success, fans could see things were improving under him and his January business changed our season completely. I know we’ve had massive setbacks since but I’d hope we’ve enough about us as supporters to get behind someone if they show they’ve got a clear plan to make things right.
Most of Parkinson’s problem is that everyone can see his plan doesn’t work with our squad yet he keeps on doing it, no one can see any sign of things improving because he appears incapable of finding any strengths we have and playing to maximise them.

From the lips of donald himself.

Anybody and i mean anybody posing the positives of dropping to league two is the reason the likes of parkinson can get a job here and why short and donald got away with destroying this club for so long.

The only thing about you with a spine is your accounting books.

Not at all. Answer the question honestly. If Poyet were appointed, and the results were like Parkinson's, or only slightly better, what would the reaction be. The thin-skinnedness of some people amazes me.
I honestly think he would be given more time, as he has defined playing method that the fans want to see.

You are becoming a club appoloigist, and do seem to like to blame the fans at any given opportunity. Other than being able to count i'd say you were Marco. IMHO like.

You don't me. I don't know you, You''re making a lot of f***ing assumptions on the basis of that. What i do see is shades of grey, not absolutes.
