The right opinions are being voiced and the club will have to work hard to ignore the anger of the fanbase. Quite right too. This lot are utterly incompetent.

When Parkinson came in they criticised the fans who said he wasn’t good enough and that he’d be absolute shite, going so far as to say he was the best candidate and that promotion was assured in his hands.

Now that Donald has - according to what was a tweet they apparently sent - cut some ties with them, all of a sudden they’re saying what every Sunderland fan has been saying for months. You can’t trade objectivity for a few podcasts with the owner and then expect people not to complain when all you then publish is just a club PR puff piece.

Unfortunately for him you can talk the talk but if you can't walk the walk it'll catch up with you. To be fair to RR, Stew looked the best thing since sliced bread not so long ago. Sadly he was completely full of it, decided to start blaming the fans and here we are.

I have a problem with why you were happy to be the club's lapdog and propagandist early doors and are only now finally speaking out against the owners when you know there is no chance of them doing a podcast.

Will probably have had something to do with the club leaking to them and ALS that the takeover was a done deal, can't imagine that RR will have been too happy with the stick they took from the fans when the news broke that the takeover was off. Not a chance that it wasn't one of the Chuckle Brothers who briefed them IMO.
