McNulty for one, is boderline rotund.

I was rotund when I joined the Royal Navy at 15, and twice as rotund when I left 35 years later - it didn't stop me passing all the mandatory fitness tests. Andy Reid wasn't size zero, but he could pass a good ball and score a good goal. Body shape and size shouldn't be an indication of laziness and a lack of application.

This is very encouraging.

We don't expect our players to be competing for Ballon D'or awards, but we do expect them to make an effort on the pitch, and show some pride in the shirt they are privileged to wear, and show some pride and respect, for the club and its fans, they represent.

I've always said the same.

I can take the team getting beaten by a better team, or a team that just gets lucky. What I cannot accept is the team being out worked by the opposition, especially at home like we saw in the Gillingham cup game.

Why will they get a shock now with this “training upgrade”?

He’s been at the club a couple of month what the fuck has he been doing?

We've had 2 games a week since he arrived so there has been very little time to do anything other than play, recover,play....
Won't have to worry about that much after Tuesday. Can't blame him for the condition of them when he arrived.
We'll quickly find out who's in and who's out once he has them on the training ground for a few weeks.
Looking forward to see how it develops but have very little hope he will turn it round with what he has to play with.

Fair play to the two of them for fronting it up to be honest. Would have been far easier to duck it or give it to someone else to do

The same shite comes out everytime we lose a few games, the players aren’t unfit at all, people just seem to say this when things aren’t going well it we win the next 2 games they will be suddenly fit again

Donald also said it was a ridiculous suggestion that we had no scouts at the club yet Methven last night said the reason we had such a poor January window was because we had no scouts.

Said it a few weeks ago after Meth's Podcast with RR," left hand doesn't know what the right is doing"..fecking amateurs

By next Wednesday morning we'll have six points, 2 clean sheets, WG will have scored in 2 matches and this site will be at one with each other and life will be tickety boo. There - I've nailed my colours to the mast.

PP spoke well, he confirmed there will be a good number of incoming players chosen by him, he also said some of the 1st team will be gone for good in the summer, A guy asked about how unfit we are, and he agreed saying he will make sure the players feel the benefit of extra sessions, he also said he will drill into them what we are feeling with their apathy on the pitch.
He mentioned how a good few of the 1st team don't realise how lucky they are to be here.
his last point was they are in for a shock with training up grade.
he did not say it directly but eluded to they had it far to easy under Ross,

how long can we stick with him? add to this he's making noises about massive recruitment (our players will fear that) that they have to work harder (again wont be going down well)
that they are unappreciative ( he's on a roll) and have had it cushy for too long.
all of which probably wont make our players respond to him short term, will he survive / or what state will be in come January?
the intentions may be good, but if you cant make the current staff work for you... your buggered

Well this dressing room wont be here much longer,and didnt try much for ross either.So im pleased hes called them out last night.Hes been here 30 odd days and will be here after most of these have gone.
