I know Methven thinks it’s a SAFC problem with fans always having a go at people, not being happy. He said as much last night, and in a few interviews.
He is wrong about this, and all of the RAWA reps and fanzine member let him know that.

Yes mate, they’re treating the Coventry match as a Cat A game, with reduced allocation and them sitting further back from the front. Alas, time got away as usual with too much unnecessary rambling from some folk, so it didn’t get much time to query it further.
He's desperate to keep his narrative going about everything being the fans fault. Keeps the heat of him if we blame ourselves and some of our fans are more than happy to do that.

We must be anticipating that they have a weak throw.

My summary ;

Parky admitted the squad is slow ,unfit and lacks physicality .Desperate to put that right with 5/6 players coming in .

we have had no interest in any of our high earners from other clubs.

grigg is shot to bits.

I feel more confident that the owners and the board can see the problems in the squad and are very keen to address it
All that matters now is that slow unfit squad ,as that’s the only reason we are shit atm nowt else .Nothing matters except that in the short term.

Sounds positive at least. If the 5/6 players are coming in to go straight into the first team then we might still have a chance this season. We’ve just got to get to January still in touch.
It must be a year now since that was first mooted.

At least three years or more I’d say

I haven't said anything about his performance, he should have done better, particularly last season. Everyone is moaning on about recruitment and Hill/Coton and there being a distinct lack of funds, yet they don't join those dots and see Ross probably didn't have much control.
I wasnt having a go mate ,i was just pointing out this board think anybody thats injured becomes messi while out .Also past managers are always better than the present incumbent. This fella hasnt been here 2mins and will surely get at least 1 window,so everyone losing their rag is imo a waste of energy

Hasn’t PP identified why we slope off towards the end of each game and brought a fitness person in ?
We have a team of people who are not athletes admittedly, we signed them knowing this.
Not having scouts is almost comical if it wasn’t my club, the money saved is certain to be lost many times over through purchasing crap.
Mate it’s been well documented teams in League One operate a free lance scouting structure. There are scouts however they are not employed directly by the club

PP spoke well, he confirmed there will be a good number of incoming players chosen by him, he also said some of the 1st team will be gone for good in the summer, A guy asked about how unfit we are, and he agreed saying he will make sure the players feel the benefit of extra sessions, he also said he will drill into them what we are feeling with their apathy on the pitch.
He mentioned how a good few of the 1st team don't realise how lucky they are to be here.
his last point was they are in for a shock with training up grade.
he did not say it directly but eluded to they had it far to easy under Ross,
Why will they get a shock now with this “training upgrade”?

He’s been at the club a couple of month what the fuck has he been doing?

They don't look in shape, you compare their phsyiques to championship and PL players and several look overweight for footballers.

I spoke to a player (not saying which level) from the club recently and he had nothing but good things to say about Power and O'Nien, saying they're always first in and last to leave, in the gym before training, always make time for the players in the junior teams etc. He named two that aren't like this nor keep themselves in shape.

Not really, Ross mentioned it multiple times.

Well that makes it worse, knowing the problem yet making it worse.
What's worse is that Ross put that squad together

People will still defend him saying it wasn't his fault.
Though it is pure rumour as to how much influence he did or didn't have.
As far as I'm concerned, as manager, he should have stopped the recruitment if he knew it was wrong.
