He will brush it off as banter. As we walked past the players bus he was going to the main entrance 2 pissed up big lads walked right up to his face and called him a money grabbing F'ing wanker. his wife and daughter were no more than 2 yards away. nice EH

He makes me suicidal with his depressing patter - God only know what he must be like to live with. He posts that much occasionally he maybe right now and again.I generally agree with ya mate, think if you read chris second paragraph it makes a lot of sense to me and although i think we will still have bumps in the road last night lifted me
There you go thick as mince.
Is that it?
There you go thick as mince.
You think its acceptable to call a man a f**king wanker in front of his wife and child? Its not something I would dream of doing, but that’s just me.

Maybe we just have different opinions on what constitutes abuse mate. It happens. While I do agree that getting pissed and slagging people off in front of their family members is the move of a scummer, I certainly wouldn’t say he’d had been abused ffs
People can see in previous years' accounts what the club was spending. There were two options, the mythical billionaire who would continue doing what short was doing and just throw money at us even though we were basically wasting it, or the way the current owners have massively reduced outgoings. The last resort was administration if neither of the above two were going to happen, but it doesn't seem that far fetched.Take 10 points away and that would be it.
As for administration, if you swallow that one then fair enough.
In this case hes not the only one I’ve heard it from. When did people start believing what madbob says?
Jesus f***ing wept. No hope here it seems. Enjoy your day.

Simon Pryde asked plenty of difficult questions. I actually think it helped Donald, forced him to be more explicit than he has been in the past.Interesting change of PR tactics.
Initially went for the fan media, because they will lap up being on the inside track and thus won't ask difficult questions.
That strategy has run its course, so switching to the established media because they lack the in-depth detail (that fan media have) and thus won't ask the difficult questions.
The sad reality of life in Britain is that anyone of any note in the public eye, gets absolute dogs abuse on social media (and this place, for avoidance of doubt, is a form of social media).
It started with politicians and high profile celebrities - now it's everyone. Give people a keyboard and a veil to hide behind and loads of them turn into *****. Sad.
If you can't see this and won't admit to it, you're turning your eyes away from where we as a society. Least surprising thing in the world that Donald is getting some, and there's no excuse - any excuses are victim-blaming. He shouldn't have to put up with it. Nobody should.
I know whats right and wrong. Are you defending their actions? Not sure you’re in a position to be criticising people’s intelligence with sentences like that, buddy.
In this case hes not the only one I’ve heard it from.
Not in the least.Happy to agree to disagree.
does this mean you agree that Charlie is guilty of abusing fans?
Well, whilst I found some comfort in what was said about the arrangement now in place, I'd be wary to go that far. It may be win-win in so much as he either succeeds or we get rid - something he thinks a lot of us want - but as with any takeover however it may occur, the grass isn't always greener. His steering of the ship so far might leave a lot to be desired but that doesn't mean I want him to take us under. The Americans god bless 'em, perhaps having taken at least a look at Short's tenure seemingly don't want to be hands on, and that's not an encouraging thought if things do go tits up for Donald. If he does fail, at the risk of chucking another idiom into the mix it could be a case of out of the frying pan and into the fire. Who knows.Well done mate think every true safc fan would agree 100 per cent with what youve said here. What worries me is that we have a section on this board who wont accept anything along the lines youve mentioned.Whatever anyone thinks of stewy his position now has got to be a win win for us fans.
For information if someone did that in front of my family Iwould be far from happy. Sunderland fans need to ensure that behaviour is way not acceptable. Anybody condoning it is at their level in the gutter and is thick as mince. While I do agree that getting pissed and slagging people off in front of their family members is the move of a scummer, I certainly wouldn’t say he’d had been abused ffs
I can’t honestly say mate. Possibly. I heard it from someone who was at the match. Not the same incident mind.First I've heard. Has it been mentioned on here before?
