Sad Bob. There is a bloke on another thread questioning that this happened.

Because of a few tossers we are all branded the same. Lets hope FFP dont say sod the lot of you's.

Where have I or anyone on here abused SD or his family? We are allowed to question his running of the club and criticise him if we feel he has done a good job.

But the narrative is set now. Had to turn the RR exiles podcast off this morning due to myopic defence of Donald juxtaposed against the ‘abuse’ he faces. They even claimed that the Grigg signing is something he shouldn’t be blamed for. It’s laughable. He has VERY pointed questions to answer regarding his ability as chairman and the strategy he has enacted to date. The current narrative helps him avoid these questions - unwittingly or not. The fact is there’s been no evidence whatsoever that he knows what he’s doing from a football perspective. He may be a nice guy but that’s not what should be open to question right now.

I'm not saying he wasn't motivated anyway, and if I'm honest I'm struggling with the right words for what I am trying to say, but in a way the fact the clock is now ticking on this money does give us fans the security that no, he can't fleece us, he can't flip us, and nor can he rest on his laurels and let the club stagnate in the lower leagues. He's laid bare both the carrot and the stick, and now has a sword of his own making to fall upon. For us fans, that could be one of the best moves he's made since coming here.

Well done mate think every true safc fan would agree 100 per cent with what youve said here.What worries me is that we have a section on this board who wont accept anything along the lines youve mentioned.Whatever anyone thinks of stewy his position now has got to be a win win for us fans.

I don't think it is straight forward, hence why there haven't been any straight answers, Donald would not answer any questions on the details of the loan deal, Ive no idea how things will pan out, just my take on things.

Not in law they don't, other than to pay creditors as they fall due.
