He's not wanted, and said he'd leave when it got as such. Wonder is he stands by his word and states his intention to depart.

Used as a deficit in the running of the club. Wage bill/running of the club was more than the income. So it was used for that. That is what it was designed for also, not to buy players. Its designed to help clubs plug the gap from earning ££££ in the premier league to a smaller amount in Championship/League 1

Except the parachute payments were much bigger than any deficit and we were told that we were within a couple of million of breakeven last year, before we got two big earners off the books over the Summer.

So we got a £16m parachute this year. Has it been used up or is it still available in reserves?

More generally, how much of SD's and CM's own cash went into buying the shares of the club?

Not in as borrowings or debt and not exchanged for debt written off/assigned to them or their vehicle by Short, but actual cash for shares that they put in personally and was/is available for SAFC use.

How much skin did they put in the game?

Did they ever manage to answer that?

For what it's worth the way these deals are usually leveraged buyers will use as little personal cash as possible. And I'm grown up enough to understand that. Their job was to get us on a even financial keep anf up into the Championship within 2 years. They still might manage it to be fair.

But it's the spin doctoring that is starting to irritate...
