Do you believe time travel is possible?

If anybody does manage it - any chance of signing Messi and Ibrahimovic as youth team prospects for a start.

.. Technically yes .. Though it is practically impossible. That is if time actually exists ..
Thanks for your view marra.
We saw Brian Cox at the mag Arena earlier this year, he said it was/would kind of be possible but I didn’t have much of a clue what he was talking about, prisms, wiggly lines and physicist stuff, sounded clever but he could have been making it up.
Did he now 🤔

If you travelled back in time 30 years you would be removing matter and energy from the present and adding them to the past which violates the rule that matter can neither be created nor destroyed. Not only that you would be taking back identical atoms to those which existed then which would violate the Law Of Identity.

I learnt about gravity, mass, space and time and realised I needed to know more. I think that Time can be manipulated as the closer you are to earth the more your time runs with everyone else. Like others have said leaving the earth at a high speed then returning will alter your perception of time its not strictly time travel.
What is time travel anyway?

Time is a concept by which we measure relative change compared to a system of standard units (hours/minutes/seconds). Somebody once said that if you could "freeze" the Universe and stop everything moving then there would be no time because there would be no change. If it started moving again you would have no way to tell how long it had been stopped.

Going forwards yes. We are all doing it currently and it has already been proven that clocks (and therefore time) run slower when they travel at high speeds.

if it was possible to travel backwards in time we would already have seen the consequences.
How do you know we haven’t?
