The statement these days is More needs to be done on anything. Also they want now, veruca salts. As my old gandad used to say its much easier to throw stones than build a wall. It’s definitely a thing nowadays. Very sad.

I think looking at their set up with the Marlins in MLB probably gives us the biggest clues to what the arrangement will be (but without the 'shorting' aspect).Absolutely, I remember the post to.
From what I've read of this thread @Guinness Guzzler's assessment sounds the most likely (most appealing) and in any event, this is certainly a huge positive for the club
Cant spend much anyway at moment ffpInvestment is focusing on developing the scouting network across Europe and UK. Sadly Coton is in charge of this.
Big chunk is going on the development of the academy and bringing in younger players.
The area us fans will notice is the swapping of the ticket office and the club shop and the building of a supporters bar on the east stand and a new fanzone.
Won’t be a great deal spent on players unfortunately.
It was to have been brexit day too ......shame we couldnt have both ..onwards and upwards
OK, most of what has been posted on here re the investment is not true, the facts will be out there in the next few days to many shit stirrers on this.
And some people are never satisfied.
Can’t wait to see some more overpaid plodders from every shit club in the north westGood old Charlie mentions coton setting up the new scouting so we might aswell set fire to that cash.
Why? He's shite. Can we sign Delli Ali now?
I think the only ones who come across like they don’t want it are on a wind up anyway.
No fan in the right mind wouldn’t want it to happen
We don’t have a clue if it will or it won’t. On the face of it appears to be a good thing but all the cloak and dagger stuff is a bit concerning. Especially given the number of versions of the truth we had from their own takeover.Whee cares about the inner dealings of the multi-billionaire klerb as long as it gives us a platform to move forward....less accounting on the terraces more action...

Not bothered if he wants to make money from us but he was always going to be making money from us after using the clubs parachute money to basically buy us (pay the debt as Charlie says) Alot of people could of came in and cut costs tho you don’t have to really put any money in to cut costs. So will have to do alot more for the club in my eyes, alot of bad decisions in his 18 months the easy part was cutting costs. (Depends how much we still paying for catts etc then having to replace them with lesser players anyway)Not hemorrhaging money might have something to do with it. I'm not SD's biggest fan but you must acknowledge he's hugely improved the clubs financial outlook from when he took the reigns. I don't think we'd begrudge him making a few quid off the back of that surely?
The tweet is nothing short of embarrassing. What a cluster of a club we are.The professionalisation of our club from top to bottom should be first on the agenda if FPP have any say. And clamping down on this regular childish epic Bantz on social media should feature somewhere on a very long to do list
says eight figure ssum so £10 is the lowest..
It's not being spent on transfers though, according to Nick Barnes, it's for the AOL and the fans experience, whatever that means? Can’t wait to see some more overpaid plodders from every shit club in the north west![]()
I don't trust these types of guys for a second. All they care about is money. and they will happily ruin the lives of hardworking folks to make an extra dollar. It's the American way! If they came in throwing money at anything else around the city, I'd be very worried. The good news here is that the only way the club's valuation goes up is if we start winning and working back up the league. While that part might not happen considering the club always finds a way to make things difficult, I don't see how the cash influx could backfire in a way that could put us on the Bury/Bolton track.
Took a 30% shareholding initially didn't he?Didn't Ellis Short invest first before his takeover a year later?
sure ellis is American and spent a fortune on us, if it wasn’t for bad decisions things may have been different.I don't trust these types of guys for a second.
