Significant investment by FPP has been made

So assuming an 8 figure investment equates to £10m that'll be £30m of SAFC money sitting in Madrox not counting the alleged £11m summer loan.

Whereas I'm as delighted as the next man at 2 American billionaires and another with big millions 'investing in SAFC' I'd like clarity as to when the parachute payment money is being paid back and what is happening with any other SAFC funds.

No it won't. This money will be used to pay the loan back to allow the money into safc around ffp

The professionalisation of our club from top to bottom should be first on the agenda if FPP have any say. And clamping down on this regular childish epic Bantz on social media should feature somewhere on a very long to do list

There are clubs who are far more professional and successful than we ever will be who are exactly the same. Give it a rest man. It’s only Twitter.

Jesus, any potential good news is immediately met by some on here with tin foil hat theories, you couldn’t make it up.

It could also be said such news is equally met by some who will drop their knickers to anyone who flashes at a glance at us.

let’s just wait and see what transpires. Money invested in the club is a good thing. It needs it. But it might not be what everyone is hoping for longer term so it would be best for people to remain a bit calm and see where we are at further down the line. Not calling people either chancers or saviours would be refreshing. Question what’s going on and hope it works out well.

It’s where our club do most of the official communication. I’d prefer proper communication than memes and bantz and suggestion

This. Fuck me, we've got massively wealthy Americans putting an 8 figure sum into the club. They might not be shareholders yet but as they aren't a bank we can be pretty certain that's the end game. People were saying that FPP were getting anxious about the risk with SAFC, if that's the case then Donald and Methven have done very well to keep them at the table and get them to become involved even in a smaller way to begin with. Instead of sniping people should be happy and optimistic, this gives us real hope again. I hope Donald is in Japan with a smile on his face and Charlie is in the tavern with a pint in his hand, on this one they seem to have done well. Let's just back the lads, get out of this shit league and see where it takes us

Investment is good news. It just needs to be managed correctly with the right people making the calls at the AOL and recrutiment areas. Not sure I am so optimistic with Reid, Cotton and Donald himself making all the big boss calls.
It makes the above accountable for the decisions they make. If FPP see management decisions being as scattergun and scatterbrained as they appear to have been lately, they won’t let that continue on their money.

twitter is not an official communication. the club wensite should be..twitter is for frivolity..

Well, I'm taking it as good news.

It's a bit sad to see plenty still trying to put the boot in when without SD & CM, we wouldn't have these mega rich billionaires onboard at all.

It'll be f***ing hard work trying to keep a club like ours sustainable in league one after reducing the serious amount of debt that was crippling the club. Yes, SD gambled last season on Grigg's goals getting us promotion and it failed...the bloke has made mistakes and has found the job to be much bigger than what he originally thought. The good work shouldn't go unnoticed tho, and just getting these americans interested is a f***ing massive coup for the club let alone investing 10 million at this level.

Theres been plenty to complain about, I'm hoping that with money in the bank, we see better decisions from the likes of Tony Coton, who may have had his hands tied as to what business we've been doing up till this point but let's not turn this into a negative....this really looks like a forward step for the future of the club.

3 points Saturday and upwards we go.
