blimey they've let the whole staff know their future plans before the deal is even done?
its amazing that four billioanires making a tiny investment that isnt significant inhe context of their overall wealth have precisely the same plan..what a coincidence..

really? well it's only natural to want your kids to manage a global business if you are a player like them - these guys wont throw money away for Donald to piss away - that for sure.
"Investors" usually want a return, not to wait till they die

mad that all their kids like football so much too

They'll mean business mate, I expect they'll want to inprove all areas of the club. It's very exciting.

I have no idea what they'll be after, to be honest. There isn't really a frame of reference.

I thought a lot of folk were getting ahead of themselves before because these folk are rich, there are many very rich owners of clubs that attempt to run it in a self-sustaining manner, Pompey for example.

I'm certainly not trying to be negative but I'm very much in the wait and see camp.

I don't know do I?
thereare four of them..the kids will inherit hundreds of illions..you think they wil want to run a tiny business in the north east of a faraway country..

and which of the kids will be in charge...and which one, despite their hundreds of millions fortune..will be happy workig for the oters?

its athe sort of platitudinous comment that makes no sense..

If I was betting, I think they believe they will make their money from raising the clubs value rather than an operating profit. Seems risky to me, for the club at least.

That's what I mean profit by selling for more than it has cost them as we are in better position league wise.

you see - here is the problem, you are drilling down in to something that was passed on by somebody who works at the club. He did not ask the investors their intent for all their kids etc. Take it or leave it mate.

there's that word again "investors"

investors will not be pumping in 100's of millions and not looking to get anything back

As I have said before they will invest now and slowly take over as we progress up the leagues / become more successful.

They have neither the time or inclination to bother running a League 1 or Championship club so will either leave existing people to run it or bring their own in.

Once we get back to the premiership then they will be more active as it will start bringing decent returns and also open up more business opportunities.

If it takes a while to achieve that as we are building the club from the ground up on solid financial footings then so be it, lets just try and enjoy the ride

when did you speak to them all?

I just don't get the math with doing that. Get to the premiership, depending on operating costs, you may be able to sell for what, 150m, how much will it cost to get there?

Even if everything went to plan, I imagine the margins would be paper-thin and with a massive possibility of it going wrong.

However, if you run your club to be excellent in academy, scouting and progression of young players, the profit possibility is huge.
