It’s as if being the largest city in the north east and receiving the lions share of investment and assistance from central government. And having two tv stations they can call their own isn’t enough for them. Spoiled brats on a grand scale.
Technically the largest city, by population, is Sunderland.
 

Anyway Hall went well well well well out of his way to put a spoke into SAFC's plans for the Nissan site and made dam sure Sunderland never got a penny of Millennium Fund money which built their daft bridge on which he was involved.


My actions were merely poetic justice. Funny enough Hall's actions in whipping up a storm about the Nissan site probably meant Sir Bob ended up with the better option of the SOL in the city centre.

I can't remember now where I heard this but I recall there were real concerns at the time as to how some information that was being discussed in a seemingly private way was finding it's way into others hands almost real-time.

It isn’t...

They also have a bigger catchment area football-wise.
But taking account of catchment area sizes, we have the better support.
