Don't panic lads and lasses.

I was warned about this postponement earlier today from one of my many contacts and that it doesn't affect the process but will dynamite the message boards.

Actually that's the umpteenth time I've been told stuff about the takeover in advance but haven't bothered to share it with you - well, not until immediately after the event any way.

I know this gives the impression of me being wise after the event or completely full of bullshit and I'm sorry.

I do feel a bit of a donkey but I've been distracted trying weed out all the journalists fake accounts.

I've also been really stressed about losing my job as moderator so I've been putting in double shifts keeping this thread alive, and I'm not ashamed to admit, just to stay onside with the gaffer.

I hope you all understand.

Its quite obvious he knows the crack hence this thread dying a death since he was banned. This thread and the one on 606 couldn't be any more chalk and cheese.

Tbf it’s likely unrelated - almost certainly in fact.

But if it is linked surely it’s more likely that means the takeover is done - but SD is gone?

If the takeover is off the chairman communicating with the fans would be important - shit news followed by the chairman f***ing off down a rabbit hole would be compounding the situation tbh and he’d lose the ability to put his spin on things

Like I say, more likely connected to SD wanting to take his kids to swimming on satda morning in oxford, now there is no game on.

Mentioned earlier though, they'll know how it looks if the talk in is rearranged. If it was purely because the game is off (which they must have known was a possibility when they announced the event) then you'd think they'd state that in the article, just to stop the inevitable worrying!

who's to say the takeover and talk in are both connected? it being cancelled doesn't mean anything. the process of the takeover is becoming bigger than the actual event itself due to people scrutinising everything. it'll happen when it happens.

:lol: I think it's pathetic how sensitive they are if that's the case.

I find it hilarious how there's long term posters on here that have gone across to another messageboard to complain about this place. I can understand it if they're banned, but most aren't.
