How are you so certain that there isn't a plan?
It'll be 'his opinion' mate, and you cant possibly question the fact it's his opinion

He’s always said he’d do what was best for the club, you can only hope he’s as good as his word and that if the takeover is dependent on him leaving he’d leave. He’d put himself in a very difficult position if it became known it collapsed because of him insisting he stayed
It hasn’t been as far as I know. Just speculation on here I thinkJust out of interest, where has it been said that the deal is dependent upon SD leaving?
That wouldn't make any sense to me. Surely any new owners would want to come in and take a look before making changes, particularly important changes such as the man in charge of the day-to-day running of the club?

Agree 100%Ah right, cheers for clearing that up, Janey.
I would expect that at the very least SD will remain in place in the short term as part of any transition to new stewardship of the club. He would help them get used to the way an English football club works and the whole football business surrounding a club.
Spot on good postI reckon it would make sense to have SD remain in place, at least in the short term. He's proven himself to be competent in running a football club and he knows the club and is respected by the fans.
Just an aside, football fans play merry hell when players show no loyalty to the club that developed them, but no one seems to give a shite that the fella who stabilised the club and it seems has found us some wealthy owners, is shipped out as part of that deal.
I'd like to see SD stay involved with the club. And, if it falls through then at least there's the consolation that we're left with someone in charge who is going to help ensure we have a financially viable football club.
Yes, but not every one is true to their word. I'd like to think he is.
Thing is janey this donald holding things up is just made up on hereHe’s always said he’d do what was best for the club, you can only hope he’s as good as his word and that if the takeover is dependent on him leaving he’d leave. Yep but why let a good conspiracy theory get in the wayThing is janey this donald holding things up is just made up on here
He's obviously one of the directors. But if Donald doesn't want to leave, that will put an end to the takeover surely.

Can we let this be a collective reminder that the majority on here with a reputation of being "ITK" have a persona to upkeep and even when they know the square root of fuck all, will go along with the narrative to scalp some credit if they happen to be right.
Hopefully the deal is finalised and announced asap, but I've just resigned myself to the fact that it will happen when it happens... If it happens, ofcourse.
My worry is that we talk about it on here and it becomes fact in peoples minds.Stewy isnt perfect who, is but when this takeover happens i will be eternally grateful to him and charlieYep but why let a good conspiracy theory get in the way![]()
This is what the SAFC staff were chanting last Friday as they were dancing around the printers with smiles on their faces...Hallelujah.

I think you’re being kind, if I had to guess I’d say 80% is blatant made up bollox put together by joining the dots from snippets we know as fact. For example Donald states at the talk in he was meeting with the Americans on Saturday, next thing u know people are claiming they are at the match as itk info. It’s laughable but there’s always a few who lap it up and then become aggressive when anyone questions their hero’s.I listen to nobody claiming to be "in the know" it's usually some whisper they have heard down the pub or from a mate who falsely told them they used to work in the offices and heard it there. Without proof there is no "in the know" it will happen when it happens if at all. The person that was claiming to be "in the know" said it was all done, if that was true Stewart wouldn't have said 50/50 or whatever it was, heard it from the horses mouth and that's the best place to hear it from not some "in the know" on here.
Totally agree, what they should be doing is looking for potential investors, like they said they would when they first took over.
But if Donald doesn't want to leave, that will put an end to the takeover surely.
