For what it’s worth I think SD is playing it down as it’s taking a little longer than they thought, meanwhile pressure is building on Jack Ross.

By giving the impression we are still weeks away he is hoping fans get before the teams and Ross as we all knows SD won’t get rid.

Meanwhile due diligence will continue and things will be put in place for the takeover.

In reality 50/50 probably means about 90/10 and SD is just playing it down to take the pressure off everything.

I’ve based this on nothing other than this is what I would do in this situation.

To be fair when SD came in the club was a mess off and on the field, despite Short clearing the debt.

SD has cut costs and got the finances nearly round the right way, although next year will not be pleasant financially if we don't go up.

The engagement with fans whilst being welcomed has lead to over analysis of everything that's been said. In hindsight I would suggest the podcasts with fanzines were a mistake as SD does like to waffle on and when he's gone "off script" he has a habit of being economical with facts
