Ross - Defense is better than last year

The problem is though...
Ross is not a bad Manager, mas shown last season by getting into the play offs and 2 finals, however he is not a good Manager either.
So it is hard to sack him while we are still close to the top, but i see the same as last season.... we will be close, but with nothing at the end of it.
But while we are close Ross has an argument for... we would have gone up if they did not sack me. Sad thing is for him to be proven wrong, we all lose out.
Any qualified football.manager and i mean any would get that side into the playoffs. That shouldnt be seen as some sort of achievment like.

To the press only bad managers hang their players out to dry.
He's stating he believes in his players.
Nothing wrong with that and players know they can get better.

I've seen plenty of managers say they need to improve things. Loads of them do, he's deflecting the blame all the time so much so he's even trying to claim our expectations are too high. It's f***ing pathatic

It will be interesting to see how our improved defence does this afternoon against a side that has managed to score 1 goal in seven league games.

If we don’t keep a clean sheet today we never will.
f***ing hell he will be wanking hinself daft and telling us all how bolton are a decent side and we battled well

I cant wait to see the back of the bloke me

"We have good players here and i think the reward will come in that sense if we keep believing in what we do.
We are not giving up a huge amount of opportunities per game as seen on Tuesday where Jon McLoughlin didn't have a huge amount to do against a good team.
From what i have seen on the training ground and in matches we will get those rewards sooner rather than later"

Where ?

In The Journal this morning...
says he set a target of 20 clean sheets at the start of the season.

What a f***ing clown this bloke is. Comical f***ing Ali

I can excuse players on certain aspects of the game given the level we’re at, but when footballers fail to do basics right even at this level it’s inexcusable.

IIm not sure the lack of shape is because they’re thick ask fuck or not being coached correctly.

Definitely hard to say without knowing them as the coaches do. Hume and whoever we play right back aren't good enough at passing. Hume just wellies the ball anywhere when a little dink past whoever is closing him down would do, he does it all the time. Our midfield is missed out by any of our defenders trying to pass it out in favour of a big lump to forwards who are all well under 6'.
When your pass completion is only just over 50% then something is seriously wrong. I think Rotherham had something like 75%. It's not good enough and never ever will be for automatic promotion

Jon McLoughlin didn't have a huge amount to do against a good team.
Apart from the goal, he made 3 saves from goalbound shots, not to mention a couple of vital punches/catches that would have led to goals

But no Jack, you're right - we bossed the game and the defence is tighter than a Gnat's chuff

🙄

He has done it previously and now he's claiming we are better than last season despite the fact opposition teams are creating as much if not more than we are in games. He's full of shit and fans can see through it without even trying.

I know it. Cheers.

He seems to think we're near the top because of him, and no one else would have us here.

That's the impression I get
