The problem is that someone at the club leaked this to the press around the 22nd of August and said it would be done within a “couple of weeks.”

If they hadn’t leaked it, nobody would be any the wiser and we’d all be able to move on happily ever after.
Imagine the absolute f***ing scenes if no one knew, and it was just announced ***Sunderland are now the second richest club in the world***

Can't believe he is being so selfish me like

I'll try not to feel too guilty. In my defence, this was booked over a year ago. I'll be around a little bit, but relying on doing it via the mobile, which is nowhere near is easy as my desktop, if I have to keep referring to other pages at the same. A bigger problem is that this tour is a private music festival, mainly in Santiago de Compostela (classical stuff), and a lot of the time I'll be in concerts with the phone switched off.

Wow. So I have given my inter
I smell either journo or mag. First game who against? And what score?. What stand in roker park did you stand in? best game and best game you've ever seen the lads play in?
Sothampton aug 66. Fulwell end. 2 nil win. I don't need stat cat to tell me that. Best game. Most would say City 73 . I was in clock stand paddock with my dad but hardly could see. My best game. Chelsea qf in 92. Worst game. Gillingham. I even saw Baxter albeit he was sent off in an evening match with Fulham. I was there when young bobby park broke his leg against Birningham. It was torrential rain all day and there were about 100 people braving the elements at the back of the roker end. SORRY. Have I bored you enough. For god's sake it's only a forum

In your position my reply would’ve been ‘fuck off and check my posting history ‘. But you must be more polite then me.

Don't feel guilty at all and you don't need to defend yourself, I hope you have a fantastic time, and a well earned rest

True, but how many of them dont want a quick return on their money, and how many invested into the community? If the Dells' wanted to make a return on their investment, which is only really possible in the Premier League, there are plenty of clubs higher up the food chain they could have gone for.
But not a club of Sunderland's relative stature at such a low, ie; cheap, ebb. I'm not sure you're thought this through that well mate.

I'm not saying look at us, look at us, we're git massive and all that, but in very recent history we were a Prem club with 40k plus regularly through the door. Even now we're proper shite we're pulling in cracking crowds. Maybe they see a dirt cheap opportunity at a club where the freefall has been arrested and the initial financial restructuring has been started already, is my guess.
