Pleased this is being consistently corrected on here. 👍😁
Due to having a now departed distant safc supporting relative in Wardley I’ve always differentiated between our Tyneside brothers n sisters and those they were unfortunate enough to grow up alongside. There but for the grace of god and our forefathers go alll of us.
As a kid of Sunderland Maternity Hospital (as was) I’m aware that red n whiters on Tyneside suffer a lot more hassle than those of us lucky enough to nivver speak to one from one month to the next so imho they deserve nowt but respect. Hopefully both their and our time is well and truly on its way.
Its Happening....I've had 44years waiting for something like this....a couple of hours/days/weeks more won't matter.
I wish I’d only had 44 marra.....and I expect I’m not alone.

I've noticed a confirmation statement is due by 29th September on companies house.

Anyone know what that means?

Without doubting its happening, taking a lot longer than expected, longer than when Donald or Quinn bought us, you wonder what the hold up is

It's the equivalent of the old Annual Return. It will simply show changes in share capital (if any), changes in shareholders (if any) and changes in persons with significant control (control of 75% or more of shares). It's a routine document and has to be filed even if it's a nil return. If everything's gone through, it might give some hints as to what the deal was, but it's pretty much irrelevant given the the number of other filings that will be required on completion.

All joking and piss-taking aside, if it’s genuinely making you anxious, you need to stop reading about it until it’s done.

Let’s assume there’s any doubt that it will proceed. The worst that will happen is that things stay as they are. The best that could happen is that we become a real force in English football again. Neither option should cause you anxiety man. Relax.

I think the worst that will happen is that Stewart will just go back to his long list of interested parties and move down to number 2.

I’m wardley area mate and also of age to have been at school when they had keegan whilst we had butcher/buxton / Crosby. I’ll be more than happy to stick it right up them if the time comes.

My kids are currently in school now - so hoping they can hark back to the great ‘Jack Ross era of 2018-2035’ when they are my age :) :).

Let’s hope this happens (because remember - it hasn’t yet!!)

T'interweb can be a fantastic thing at times, but a bastard at others. I'm in Greece on holiday at the minute, and I remember the time the only info you got was from the Dailly Mirror each morning. Now, you can check up 24/7 just like you can at home if you want to.

I'm not that sad like, just look in a couple of times a day to pass time at the pool 😎
I remember being in Corfu when Ashursts new XI did McMenemys Southampton at Roker first game of the season. The Scouse dj used to write the div 1 and old firm scores on a blackboard outside the beach bar after ringing home at ten past 5. Anyone who supported a non div 1 team had to have their request for it in by midnight on Friday neet or he wouldn’t ask his da when he rang. His da had to write all the scores down from grandstand or summit.
There’d be a mob outside the bar waiting for him returning from the hotel phone box. He wouldn’t tell anyone and everyone had to wait until he’d chalked it up on the board. The tension was unreal. Far far better than the instant gratification of today WiFi n Bluetooth world.
Everyone then went on the lash so it suited the bar to be doing it.

Would missing that deadline be seen as potential problems?

Or can it just be ignored
