T'interweb can be a fantastic thing at times, but a bastard at others. I'm in Greece on holiday at the minute, and I remember the time the only info you got was from the Dailly Mirror each morning. Now, you can check up 24/7 just like you can at home if you want to.

I'm not that sad like, just look in a couple of times a day to pass time at the pool 😎
If you right a negative comment you could be said to be 'Twisting by the Pool'.
They can fuck off back to America if they are not really
Straw that broke the camel's back?

Getting very anxious now. The press said the same thing two weeks ago. It would be toward the end of next week - likely Friday and they then said last week it would be toward the end of next week - likely Friday.

Now this from the Shields Gazette today

John Phelan, Robert Platek and Glenn Fuhrman are set to finalise their takeover of Sunderland in the coming days - but it won’t be their first involvement in the sporting world.

All joking and piss-taking aside, if it’s genuinely making you anxious, you need to stop reading about it until it’s done.

Let’s assume there’s any doubt that it will proceed. The worst that will happen is that things stay as they are. The best that could happen is that we become a real force in English football again. Neither option should cause you anxiety man. Relax.

Eeeeee worra blurt.

Aye we could sponsor the stadium, although I think there's rules about how much we can get paid for it! Its just gifts of cash we can't do in the championship. Hell, when all is said and done that's pretty much why FFP exists, to prevent any upstarts buying their way to the top table. They say it's about ensuring a level playing field etc but really they want to stop the likes of man united from breaking away by pretty much guaranteeing them their status; based on football income they'll always have a massive advantage due to CL money. They will do as much as they can to stop others competing. Luckily there will always be ways around it and I'm sure we'll find some
It's a shame the rule can't allow clubs to invest up to an average of the Premier League revenue. This is just an example grasped out of air without even checking figures as I'm just thinking that something that allows growth from teams who haven't grown would be canny. Though upon further thought, even if it was allowed, it that would still open clubs up to failing financially as they could then spend millions chasing the 'CL dream' and end up with the owners bailing if it fails and the club is left with players worth a lot less but still on high wages as they tumble back down!

I thought it would be announced today like. Might be tonight but surely it will be announced the day before any arranged press conference

This reads like it could be SAFC , thankfully Short paid off most of the debt taking responsibility for what had happened , if he hadn't we would have had a major problem .
