I like him and would keep him but there are many aspects to his management that puzzle me. The best managers have a strategy that they stick to i.e. Jose has always signed players for today Ferguson believed in home grown with the addition of the occasional british top player , i see no real strategy when it comes to Ross's recruitment - it seems very scattergun.

I’m not!
I’m surprised there’s anyone left who think Ross will suddenly come good after all the chances he’s had. Utterly bewildering.

He’s not going to get any better, people!

true

I don't think our squad is that good like, one comment I really don't agree with is people saying we have the best squad in the league

then drop names like Chris Maguire, who is a league one player who doesn't get teams promoted, neither does Charlie Wyke

I honestly can’t judge our squad while they’re playing under Ross, because I don’t think he has any of them playing anywhere near their potential. Most of the time they don’t seem to know what they’re supposed to be doing.
My guess is we could grab the title if everything was addressed and a couple of players added in January, but that’s pure speculation.
Fingers crossed that whoever comes in can get them playing like an actual team.

The captain may disagree with you.

Draws are losses mate when you need to win games to get promoted. What a really weak argument. Won’t win the league losing 5 games in a season, not very often anyway.

You suggested it when you said “it’s too early”. That implies we should keep him because it’s “too early” to sack him. Hardly a big leap.

You haven’t answered either of my questions.

In but only just. Sick of changing manager and having to rebuild time and again. He needs to be more progressive though and if we're more than five/six points or so off top two pull the trigger.

A hell of a lot of “Fans” on here are making this board embarrassing. Some of the behaviour, posts and demanding the sacking of our Manager is simply “Magesque”.
I’m struggling to believe that any of them are over the age of 30 !!

Is there any logical reason to keep him though? The two things that were mentioned by those who wanted to give him another go were that they wanted some managerial stability and hoped that he would learn from his mistakes, as it turns out then stability is absolutely pointless when sticking with the wrong manager and he hasn't learned a thing from last season. There's no way we're getting promoted with Ross as manager unfortunately.

Also, a lot of people seem to be under the impression that Methven wanted him gone after the play-offs. Is he displaying "Magesque" behaviour as well?

Your post is a huge embarrassment, tbh. Equating fans of a club struggling to get out of the third division with Mags.
Wow. Just wow.

Try having respect for people who simply want the club to progress. You don’t need to agree with them.
