An overreaction to one game? Seriously? People still think that we want Ross out because of one game? Christ.
You'd think we'd just been pumped 4 nowt and in the bottom three ffs. Look, if we don't win the next two games then I'll have no qualms if he gets the boot. Personally I think the players take a brunt of the blame for last night, one or two in particular. And the recruitment team should be the first lot to go imo.

2 points from 9 this season against teams in the top half of the table.

5 clean sheets in 25 - fewer this season than Bolton.

The worst defence in the top half.

The worst attack in the top half.

But aye it’s all based on one game.

What are you talking about he played a rb at rb !! We did dominate for the first 40 mins and if we scored the pen it would of been game over. They played better 2 nd half but we still had the best chance to win it with wyke been put clean through

He played a RB at RB, a RB as no.10 to which he then moved him to RB when be brought the RB off.

They had chances 1st half and could of just as easily went in at the break 2-1 up.

No. He shoehorned in someone who is clearly not good enough and in the process moved someone who was performing ok in that position.

I don't care what the FIFA profile says, LO is a much better Right back than CM will ever be. Put post-it note on a standing lamp that says "right back" if that's your only criteria.

He's trying to justify signing someone who isn't up to it, and it cost us two points.

Garbage.
So basically your taking rubbish , you said he put a cm at rb when he blatantly didn’t and now your back tracking

Funny how some fans just seem to mention there chances, we were by far the best team in the first half and the game should of been over. He played a RB at RB and a midfielder at number 10

We looked decent for about 20 minutes. Football matches are 90 minutes long.

That was stunningly bad tonight. I keep hoping he's going to realize he is missing his big opportunity and have us throw caution to the wind but they just looked absolutely devoid of attacking ideas.

Couldn't get hold of the game at all and imo that's because he shoehorned CM in at right back. The lad is useless. Write him off now because he's not getting any better.

If Ross can't buck his ideas up and get us dominating at home he will be sent packing before too long now we have new ownership coming in.
CM's track record would suggest he is not useless.
CM's record in a Sunderland shirt would suggest he is massively struggling to adapt and is therefore very likely to end up on the huge pile of players who were good elsewhere and somehow shite for us. He has made some horrendous mistakes this season.

No we dominated for 40 mins first half, then the last 10 of 2nd half.

f***ing hell.

5 clean sheets in 25 games with a manager who said keeping clean sheets was how we’d be promoted.

3 games played against teams in the top half this season and we’ve got 2 points from 9.

We’ve kept fewer clean sheets than Bolton.

We’ve had 62 shots on goal in 8 games. Coventry have had 107. The only teams with fewer are Portsmouth (60) and Bolton (29).

While we’re 4th in terms of shots faced were 11th in terms of goals conceded - meaning teams need fewer shots to score against us than anyone else in the top half of the table.

But it’s all ok because we looked good for a little over 50 minutes last night.

Last year both the Doncaster Manager and Fleetwood's manager (I know!) said with our squad we should be running away with the league. Ross does not get the best out of the squad and is serving up football that is rubbish to watch. It needs to improve, as he has said many times, do you think it will? How?

100% agree. He should be sacked and sacked today

50 minutes?! Whee's saying that like?

20-30 max. Otherwise carry on.

Despite our good 30 minute start they had more of the ball than us, more shots at goal and as many on target as us over 90 minutes. They could of had a penalty when Ozturk played the man and not the ball in the first half.

JR has said he sees O9 has a RB now. I don't think he's a great RB and definitely not a no.10.

Edit: and we made 24 fouls to their 12 which tends to indicate that we were having to stop them getting beyond us.

There will still be those who say give him a chance...ffs does this not prove that he wont get us promoted??? People need to realise that we are not consolidating ourselves as a mid table Premier league team....We are in a non-negotiable 'must get promoted' situation and he hasnt delivered once so he mustnt be given a second chance to not do it again...simple as that.

We really didn't mate and I'm a happy clapper and until last night defended Ross and wanted to give him time but that broke me. We were absolutely dreadful after the penalty miss.

Rotherham were awful when put under pressure at the back and we should've been out of sight before the penalty was even given. To come out second half and not even try to press the issue or take the game to them just isn't good enough. There was no intent or game plan there. 11 wins in 29 tells you all you need to know.

We've started as bad as we finished last season. We STILL need some pace and athleticism upfront and two new full backs - and everyone knew we had these problems all summer.

Recruitment should be shot and Ross needs to either wake up and realise how to manage a team that aren't meant to play as scrappy underdogs or get out to be honest.

Hopefully the takeover gets announced in all it's glory. I need cheering up this morning.

I love when I hear about people wanting to get the SOL bouncing again. Like there's any f***ing chance of that happening under Ross. It will be constant silence whilst we show Man City respect to any opposition team

Haway Billy, you’ve included Bolton in that run and even winning them will prove nothing. He isn’t the man to take us forward, his football will drive supporters away and has been like that since well before 2019, and that isn’t going to change overnight. Agree with the recruitment team, but Ross should be next

What are you trying to say here?

Ross makes the shushing action when we score but not in the ironic way.
