Takeover Rumours

And we play good football under Ross do we? Hanging on against rochdale and nearly entering accrington half after half time

You're absolutely clueless

Having PL players in a struggling Pl is one thing. Having one of the strongest teams in league one and still failing to look decent is far far worse
Think your the clueless one, your posts explain it all so I don’t need too.

Alright mate  you seriously cant put any post together that is critical towards anything to do with the club.
Like I said learn to read , I’ve already said they were shit against Peterborough unlike you I will support the team hoping for promotion as we are only 2 pts off the top. You carry on with your anti Ross negative shite dreaming of BSA which isn’t going to happen

It wasn’t like, not sure what people just got carried away because he kept us up, but he had a nearly a full season there and it still took him till the last few games to get us safe. Not saying he was poor but if we did change manager he’s not what we need to build for the future

Yeah because we are so far away from the top, 2 pts with a game in hand!!
He had roughly 6 months out of 9 months. When he took over in October we had 3 points. We had 48 in May.

Would you swap Ross for BSA?
No he’s not what we need, 1 he wouldn’t come to league 1 anyway, and he would only be here for 1 last payday. Plus he will only have 1 or 2 years in him
It’s sa
Promotion charge to the championship. You said until the PL and then Allardyce. Says fuck all like that
it says promotion charge to the championship then if he succeeds he will another year. If you want BSA thens that’s your choice but he is not what we need if they did decide to change manager.

In my opinion Ross wont be here in a year regardless what happens. If we are stuttering towards promotion he will obviously be sacked and if we get to the next level he will be replaced with a more ambitious appointment. Bit like when Nigel Adkins took Southampton as far as he could then they replaced him

There is another thread to discuss the merits of Sam Allardyce.
There are also plenty of other threads to post the same thing over and over and over again regarding Jack Ross.

You're my new hero :D

Are you one of these SuperMods we've been promised?

those rose tinted specs are to be seen in abundance today mind...BSA did ok but never forget that first half of the season, only after he got m'vila did things look like they were changing, also kirchoff's debut nightmare that saw him moved to midfield only because there was no one else to put there...so there was an element of luck involved there as well.

i said at the time and many times since, people did not realise the work that m'vila actually put in, maybe he was not always on the ball or surging forwards (the reasons that some did not rate him) but his positional sense in front of the back four stopped a hell of a lot of passes in behind and runs into space, they do say it is the quiet ones to watch and he personified that saying.

i sometimes wonder how good a defender that kirchoff was, if he was that good in the middle but was bought as a defender, or maybe he was just one of those players who could adapt to most positions with ease, a rarity in the game now.

Wow what, if you enjoyed most of his games then our idea of good football is different to mine. We had some good games where we played well but there weren’t many. Being hard to beat and well organised doesn’t mean it’s great to watch

Wow that you think struggling PL sides are going to play top of the PL sides off the park but it's impossible for top of league 1 sides to play bottom of league 1 sides off the park.

you know what is "embarrassing beyond belief"? Allardyce practically begging for a job in the Sun.

We've still got a manager and regardless of your personal thoughts on him Allardyce shouldn't be whoring himself out to us.

There's no doubting that Allardyce got some good results towards the end of the season but we've had plenty of managers that have found form at the end of the season.
I’ve just had to re-read that Sun article a couple of times to find the reference to Allardyce practically begging for a managers job. Yet no matter how many times I read it, I couldn’t see it. Would you be so kind to point it out for me.
