So when you are a young manager of a 3rd division club and have a young family to support your going to walk away from a job because your boss has signed a player you didn’t particularly want?If he’s allowing players to come in over his head and actually play them aswell then he’s a coward and should have told Stu and the Spiv to stick their job where the sun don’t shine .
If I tried to force a useless bricklayer for instance onto my foreman at work and ignored his concerns I’m quite sure he would tell me to fuck off and get someone else to run his jobs and rightly so .
Ross is a fraud and you hinting at him being a spineless twat confirms what we all knew anyroad .

I wish I had a wife, so that I could get involved with such a question.Have you ever said to the wife shall we buy something that you want and the wife doesn’t particularly want? The wife reluctantly agrees providing it doesn’t cost more than a certain amount and doesn’t impact your finances......you then go and buy said item and it costs way more than what the wife agreed too without consulting the wife?
I agree with some of the things you say about strategy and such but stuff like that takes years to implement, Donald & Co came into a huge shit storm and time dictated that we needed a squad of players to not only just play in this league but one that could challenge. It was thrown together and yet we still managed to be competitive up until the very end.
I listened to Donald on the podcast mention the 100 points and to me it sounded like a target, a number to aim for and I see nothing wrong with that. If Ross would agree with you that it puts him under pressure then it would suggest he's probably the wrong man going forward, I'd expect him and the team itself to have a similar target in mind...if they are wanting to achieve promotion.
If Grigg had fires us to promotion , I doubt we would be thinking of what he would be worth in the championship as he would have still probably been looked at as one of our main forwards but he would have went some way in repaying the club had we went up.
You don't like Donald mate, that's your opinion but personally, I think he's done a very decent job. Anyway, that's my opinion on that matter and I'll leave it at that.
It’s doesn’t really matter when the deal goes through because the transfer window is closed. It’s only for the benefit of every bodies sanity at the moment.
SD says lots of things. Mind you, think you replied to a different message.SD said only hits £4m if we get to the PL with him still here.
He was his choice he's said it multiple times, you can think what you like but the truth is grigg was Ross choice simple as that!I don't care if he was gutted or like a pig in shit, you cannot hold him responsible for a spending money on a player he wasn't that bothered about.
This is why I think the new owners will have a DoF. By all means keep SD and CM to run the club, they are clearly smart buissness men.I don't dislike Donald at all, In fact, I am very grateful for some of the things he has done for the club.
I just attribute many mistakes to how underprepared he is to lead a club of this size. Mistakes are not an issue but I have seen little to show he is learning, just defiance.
Him here looking after business and someone else (competent) looking after the football and I would be a happy supporter.

If Ross thought we had £4m to spend he would have asked for someone betterMate, Ross would have been over the moon that Donald went out and got him Grigg regardless of cost.....as would any other manager who would have been in that position.
Agreed, but we are all interested about the takeover, it's the posters calling other posters liars etc. and just being contrary to start an argument that are spoiling it for everybody else. As somebody else said if you don't believe it start your own thread with the title "I don't believe this takeover rumour" and they all can post in there.Exactly. Due to FFP in this division, we'd be hamstrung with regards to spending power in January anyway.
Getting a result tomorrow is all that matters for me. If we're take over then great of not, then we're no worse off.
You’ve further confirmed that this job is not suitable for Jack Ross and he’s punching above his weight and he certainly knows it .So when you are a young manager of a 3rd division club and have a young family to support your going to walk away from a job because your boss has signed a player you didn’t particularly want?

However I think to really move the club forward they need someone who's footballing network isn't from owning a lower league team, or managing a team in Scotland (Ross saying he knows little of English footballers). If they are looking for a medium/long term investment they need the right people to bring the club forward.
I have no doubt Stewart and Charlie could improve the club I.e. Stadium, academy. but I don't think they have enough football backgrounds to sort the actual team side out with the right staff and players to bring in
Well one thing I think we can all agree and unite on, is that this takeover blatantly won't happen. If i've learnt anything from the President of the United States its that all news = fake.
