So when you are a young manager of a 3rd division club and have a young family to support your going to walk away from a job because your boss has signed a player you didn’t particularly want?

If Grigg had fires us to promotion , I doubt we would be thinking of what he would be worth in the championship as he would have still probably been looked at as one of our main forwards but he would have went some way in repaying the club had we went up.

You don't like Donald mate, that's your opinion but personally, I think he's done a very decent job. Anyway, that's my opinion on that matter and I'll leave it at that.

I don't dislike Donald at all, In fact, I am very grateful for some of the things he has done for the club.

I just attribute many mistakes to how underprepared he is to lead a club of this size. Mistakes are not an issue but I have seen little to show he is learning, just defiance.

Him here looking after business and someone else (competent) looking after the football and I would be a happy supporter.

Exactly. Due to FFP in this division, we'd be hamstrung with regards to spending power in January anyway.
Getting a result tomorrow is all that matters for me. If we're take over then great of not, then we're no worse off.

This is why I think the new owners will have a DoF. By all means keep SD and CM to run the club, they are clearly smart buissness men.

However I think to really move the club forward they need someone who's footballing network isn't from owning a lower league team, or managing a team in Scotland (Ross saying he knows little of English footballers). If they are looking for a medium/long term investment they need the right people to bring the club forward.

I have no doubt Stewart and Charlie could improve the club I.e. Stadium, academy. but I don't think they have enough football backgrounds to sort the actual team side out with the right staff and players to bring in

No doubt it was a huge step up for Donald mate and with that comes it's own set of unique problems running a club of our size. I dare say him and the new group will be looking at a DoF type of appointment so it takes that kind of pressure of himself.

Brighter times ahead.


(Best start talking take overs as folk are getting annoyed that we aren't talking about jet paths or helicopters at the AoL).

Agreed, but we are all interested about the takeover, it's the posters calling other posters liars etc. and just being contrary to start an argument that are spoiling it for everybody else. As somebody else said if you don't believe it start your own thread with the title "I don't believe this takeover rumour" and they all can post in there.
 
Well one thing I think we can all agree and unite on, is that this takeover blatantly won't happen. If i've learnt anything from the President of the United States its that all news = fake.

You’ve further confirmed that this job is not suitable for Jack Ross and he’s punching above his weight and he certainly knows it .
I’m disappointed in him being a yes man and I’m also unhappy that Donald thinks he knows better than the bloke he’s apparently the expert on such matters .
He’s a dead man walking ,he knows it /fans know it and the owners certainly know it aswell.

Sooner he’s out the door the better as based on the evidence on the pitch and hear say from yourself he’s never going to make a football manger at this club as long as he has a hole in his arse .

I absolutely hope so, the reason I was excited for Mark Cambell was that he had John Park onboard and that signaled an improved manner of doing things. The reason I was giddy over red bull was because of their strategy, not money, their template is modern and very intelligent.

We don't really know anything about the new chaps over than they have lots of money. Who knows who is advising them or what knowledge they have but if they're meaning to have SD use his existing model as suggested by TD then..... were going have to waste an awful lot of said money to achieve.
