Takeover Rumours

Who decides if the media can or can't report on something? I'd presume it'd have to go in front of a Judge or similar to make that ruling, and surely then it's only to protect innocent people, or 'not in the public interest'? Can't see why this would be embargoed, or what the penalties would be for reporting on it, other than the reporters not being allowed into SAFC press conferences any more... not a big deal in the grand scheme of things.
I would imagine if the local media report on this against the Club's wishes (NDA) then the Club would not be very helpful, if it so chooses, to that said media in the future.

In terms of the local media we are talking of a small group of people...it probably wont be helpful in their work if they havent a good relationship with the Club. Dont bite the hand that feeds so to speak.

In terms of the national media this wont be a big story till its official. Despite us being a very big club the effects of the takeover wont be apparent for a year or two when it will hopefully be a much bigger story as the Club progresses.

I'd suggest it's a myth that JR inherited a squad as good as you feel. It was absolutely, and I use the word advisedly, rotten. We now have an average league 1 team/squad. Anyone who thinks otherwise is kidding themselves. Ask yourself how many of our current squad would make the transition to the championship. 3 or 4 I reckon.
Spot on marra

Ok I’ll bow to your knowledge of the inner workings of the club. Obviously know more than the people running it....
It's friggin' obvious and the various people running the club have said as much. Ross admitted he didn't know the English market, this is why Coton and Hill are there. There's comments in the press about Marcus Maddison - who comes out to respond? Hill. Hill wasn't interested at £2.5m - not Jack Ross.

When we signed Grigg, I can't recall every little thing said, so maybe you've got me beat there, but the way I remember it from the podcast was more that it was Donald asking Ross if Grigg would improve us rather than Ross going up to Donald and saying this is who I want.

They might have told him to strike out, focus on the offense, increase the yardage and go for.3-pointers leading to more folding of arms and a new 2-3-5 formation.

It'll be 1-1. Ha'way the score draw!

You know our American brothers and sisters aren't backwards in coming forwards. It may have all been smiles and friendly tones but they'll have put their message across to Ross on what they want to see and that they'll be watching closely.

Professional indemnity insurance. All private contractors should have it, and if he doesn't then he will become bankrupt with all assets seized.

He should have 5-10m but if he doesn't unlikely he'll have assets in his name of that value....if he does he'll just go bankrupt, meaning we get Fook all

Agree

Aside from only scoring 1 gerl we were Fookin sublime first half...
We weren't sublime like. I think one or two were maybe caught up in the occasion and maybe had one or two beers and look back on it with red n white specs. We were value for 1-0 but let's not kid ourselves that we were any better than that.

Thought we scorched them first half, had some injuries and looked buggered by 60 mins
