Takeover Rumours

Oh, I never saw that suggested. If that was true, then he's definitely be under a NDA.
This. Some people should use a bit of common sense. If Tony Davison is as professional and switched on as everything that I've read about him suggests, there is absolutely no way that he would be so stupid as to 'Scupper', potentially the biggest thing to happen to our club, in most of our lifetimes. Also, I would be very careful about naming people in writing on social media as maybe there is the risk of libel cases being brought against those who are found guilty of it, especially considering the cost of it to the long term development to our club.

I know we have to go back to something like page 1299, 15 hours and several hundred posts to look at one talking about me and my "dyspraxia" developmental disorder (it isn't a difficulty. That I think is the non-PC name now. Because I certainly haven't had any difficulty achieving certain life tasks like flying, getting a job and learning to drive. Although I have had to go about them in a different way and with less ease than most which is why I see them as more a set of 'barriers'), and how you all ought to treat me and these posts have largely been forgotten under all following posts. But I feel I need to reply with a rare one. Till I do reply this topic in the thread cannot be tied off.

In this case I don't feel we are talking about my "dyspraxia". I do feel we are perhaps talking about a personal weakness. The bet thing I think is more to do with the fact I perhaps am easily coerced. Easily influenced. Easily led. I am all to aware of the symptoms of Dyspraxia and this does not tally with any of those.

The feeling this deal may not be done may simply be the fact I am a very pessimistic person. I don't think that there is anything wrong with it. We all react differently to scenarios. When it comes to situations where things are not going well it just happened that I did not fall into the category of a person who is optimistic. No matter how bad the situation is or how long the situation hasn't been going well, such people still think something good will happen to turn it all around. I am not like that.
We all handle situations in a manner we are comfortable with, your way is no better or worse than mine, it's just an inherent part of our character. If we were all the same life would be very boring.

If we did we still didn't create an awful lot marra. Reece James certainly didn't look like a higher division player.
Yeah that’s a feature of our play under Ross tbh. He appears to prize game control (as we undoubtedly had first half) over chance creation. Personally I don’t see why you wouldn’t want to turn that into something - in the same way that I disagreed with fans who were happy that we spoofed xG by having a better keeper and striker than other teams for part of last year.

It's just a good thing that football is back and there's a few games coming up to take our minds off this take over. Saving no games hasn't helped.

It's obviously a longer process than we first thought. I hoped for good news today to head into the coming games with but we're going to have to be patient that little bit longer.

Be interesting to see how we play tomorrow now that Ross has spoken to some of the new owners.

They might have told him to strike out, focus on the offense, increase the yardage and go for.3-pointers leading to more folding of arms and a new 2-3-5 formation.

It'll be 1-1. Ha'way the score draw!

Had it not been for the in er net there would not have been the hysteria we see on this board. We would have been in complete ignorance until an announcement of a takeover had taken place. Having said that this has been one of the best threads zip have participated in since I first accessed the SMB.

I’m 100% certain there is.
Who decides if the media can or can't report on something? I'd presume it'd have to go in front of a Judge or similar to make that ruling, and surely then it's only to protect innocent people, or 'not in the public interest'? Can't see why this would be embargoed, or what the penalties would be for reporting on it, other than the reporters not being allowed into SAFC press conferences any more... not a big deal in the grand scheme of things.

They can report what they want. But none of it will come from the club if there are NDAs in place. The lock down is on employees, not reporters, and breaching an NDA will be considered gross misconduct and grounds for summary dismissal. The press aren't saying anything because no one is telling them anything.

The only person they would have put a gagging order on is SD, and methven probably advised them to do that!

I think it's the reasons I stated above - we're just not that good at doing it, and when we try, we leave ourselves susceptible to the counter.
