Makes me laugh folk criticising the Grigg signing, ohh I didn't want him in the first place etc. Bollocks. Practically everyone was ripping their skin back when we signed an absolute proven league one striker.
Hindsight is a wonderful thing.
If that's in reference to me mentioning it, I wasn't outright criticising the signing (mind you nor was I ripping my skin back when we did sign him). It was the nature of the deal. It sort of flew in the face of a lot of the things they said they would and wouldn't do when they arrived. It seemed to me he got himself over excited and splashed the cash in a bit of a panic.

There's a lad, who posts on here, who knows the situation better but it's basically faults where the steel fittings go through the concrete.

Ironically, because the ground isn't a modern bowl, the 'design' catches the wind and puts a huge strain on the fittings.

If prospective owners 'catch wind' of it that could really put them off ....

... which, through sheer spite, is the reason I keep mentioning it
On the phone to Health and Safety as I type. It would be tragic to see the whole place collapse. 😏

That's a fair point. Nah, it wasn't you mentioning it specifically.
