Any prospective manager who thinks it's a step down to manage a club owned by fowa billionaires, with the facilities & loyal following (I don't like the word fanbase) we have self-evidently wouldn't be the right fit. But I suspect there are some out there who might see this as the chance of a lifetime. Who maybe share the owners' vision that we are a blank canvas upon which arl manner of wonderful pictures might be painted. I like Ross. I still think that, given more time, he can get it right & become a top manager. However, the piper carls the tune & as others have arlriddy said, a managerial appointment is the only significant marker the new lads can put down at this juncture, now the winda has closed.
But having no experience with the owners, why would they take the risk if they're already managing a PL team?
I agree, we should be a big pull, but managers will also be wary about how much time they will have to turn things around. They'll be thinking is it worth the risk.
