But having no experience with the owners, why would they take the risk if they're already managing a PL team?

I agree, we should be a big pull, but managers will also be wary about how much time they will have to turn things around. They'll be thinking is it worth the risk.

Did RR and ALS actually state there won't be a manager change? If so we may as well stop talking about that. They won't have been conclusive about it unless told they can be by the club.

My thought all along has been that Ross will get a couple of months to show he can do it with the squad he has. If not, new manager and a healthy budget in January.

Either the sack / resignation is imminent or they’ve had a massive fall out or they’re underpaid. The only reasons.

playing devils advocate a bit as I agree we should have pushed on but losing Power was a big blow. Brought Morgan on who was good in the Checkatrade at Wembley but on this occasion was anonymous/knackerd after 20 mins.

It was an even game with one team scoring in stoppage time. It happens.

Obviously, I don't know, but I'd speculate:

1. Money talks; in fact, with these blokes, it shouts (not at shops, though, oh, no, not likely) & possibly yodels anarl;

2. What greater (legitimate, non-sexual, drug-free) thrill could a manager get from the job than taking a team up the divisions & then cementing them as a team that can compete at the highest level? He'd be a folk hero. Cowards & play-safe merchants need not apply.

Something along those lines, perhaps?
