We've tried it. It doesn't work, you need to build a squad suitable for success at your level, that cares about the club and grows with it until back in the PL.

I have to admit like I've barely seen anyone suggest we try and sign Premier League players in January. Have you just made it up?

As an American, I can tell you as fact that it will be a long time...the majority of kids just don’t play it past 12yrs old. There’s ‘soccer fields’ everywhere over here, and it’s mostly girls or young boys...when they get to high school age, they switch over to more mainstream sports. The mainstream sports fans in the USA cannot stand the falling over and feigning injury everytime a player comes near them...when I say cannot stand it, I mean my older brother telling me to “turn this fuckin shit off” (PL matches) everytime we watch sports together :lol: I think the world is safe for the foreseeable future.

We already have a decent League 1 side that really should have gotten promoted last season, the last thing we need is more players that we’d need sift in the championship. Ideally we need a couple of signing ready to play in the play at the next level.
 
I think what might happen is. Now everyone knows we're going to be rich. They will try it on when we come looking for a player. There will be a stabilizing period where we miss out on targets because other clubs take the piss. But we slowly advance! Up through the leagues! Until, we lift the Champions league trophy in 2025!

Do you ever say anything positive about anything? We’re being taken over by some of the richest owners in football, and they aren’t going to let us sit in league 1. Just be happy the future is looking great and enjoy it ffs

bit of pressure... he contributes to his own pressure.. weve got a very promising midfield player who could dictate the game but hes dropped him because he spoke his mind.. bloke is an absolute amateur..
