Think Roy and Bairstow need dropping. Bairstow will come again but he's in a bad run and is bowled too easily. What about Foakes? Has he had a good season? He looked the part last year.

Denly at least seems to have a technique. His FC average and his age suggests he's a bit lucky to be starting a Test career. I suppose it shows the dearth of batting talent.
