Takeover Rumours

Give over man
Pointless to change anything till we know what is happening, the takeover needs finalising and even when that happens we are between transfer windows so a new manager is only going to have the present squad to work with . Should we be dropping off the pace then change it if needed but as it stands we are toward the top of the table after playing several of the teams who are likely to be challenging for promotion so the start of the season has not been disastrous other than the Peterborough game . Think everyone should stay calm till we have an insight in to any plans are revealed .

Exactly mate he is f***ing hopeless ,thats killed my enthusiasm .This the third div.and without doubt bearing in mind the level the worst football in 60 years
He will win enough games to keep his job but have the odd draw and defeat in stupid games to ensure we miss automatic promotion.

Hes shocking like. Hopefully the new owners wake up and dont be best pals with him like Donald is

Seems weird @Reiver has suggested we are negotiating with someone (i.e. the Bruce scenario) only for the fanzines to come out and completely deny it.. Fed something from the club obviously but why the disparity in info?
Because people don't know everything (sometimes anything) that is going on. Reiver is possibly hearing third hand snippets which he has shared, which has been good fun and kept this thread going! But you can't take it all as gospel, as I'm sure he hasn't, things change all the time and until the facts are announced none of us will know.

As long as he invites us all to his new castle for a knees up when the takeover is finally announced all will be good!

I’m betting Riv got a text an hour before RR and ALS confirmed Ross is staying telling him the very same but wasn’t allowed to post it, but can now it’s in the public domain. We were on the verge of signing the manager he has imagined but then the goal posts were moved and now Ross is staying. That’s how it goes right?

OK, once again please bear in mind that whatever I post will be seen.

It's my own personal opinion that it's not the cost of sacking Ross that's the problem.

Think back to Newcastle, Bruce and Sheff Wed.

That's all I can say.

Scousers asking a fortune for Klopp mate?

If he isn’t sacked when the takeover goes through, he’ll be gone by January. Hopefully Coton and Hill will be gone by then as well, if not sooner.

Exactly. I dont think these businessman would have gotten very far by making multiple sackings in a pretty stable business on day one.

Ellis Short was a Billionaire and is recruitment was shockingly bad.
He trusted too much to chance, I think. As much as I loved & still love Niall Quinn, he made some shocking appointments, chief among whom was Margaret Byrne. Get that key appointment wrang & there's a good chance the errors will cascade arl the way down through the organisation. Get it right & that's a completely different matter. Given the apparent acumen of these blokes, I'd like to think they'd not repeat Short's error. They might even nar him. They might have talked to him about it. Whee nars, marra?

Just a sweeping as your dismissal of people being from the PlayStation/Social Media generation because they disagree with your outlook.

We have played in a largely dull fashion for months now, it’s hardly a massive leap.

Where did the whole dull thing come from anyway? 10 years ago I cant remember anyone ever complaining about football being dull. Ive quite enjoyed this season so far.

RR podcast. He was raging with Ross for not going up. Rightly, he should have been sacked then.

Instead fast forward 3 months and we are pinned back in our own box hanging onto a lead over rochdale and losing 3-0 at Peterborough:lol::lol::lol:

Sooner he goes the better
Harsh but fair that Rochdale game was appalling
