Takeover Rumours

Is this "wenger" craic just for laughs or did I miss something earlier that tips him coming in or summat?

I’ve seen him mentioned somewhere on this thread. For what reason, I don’t know. But Michael’s Dell name appeared and then it turned out to be genuine so let’s hope this Wenger malarkey is equally as unbelievable as the Dell stuff

If Jack Ross loses his job over the weekend it pretty much confirms the takeover is 100% happening.
In my no nowt head in the sand red n white tinted happy clapper glasses opinion.

Low on coaches over there. That and scouting needs action.

Plus my padded seat....that I may use once per game

If it's a staffing issue, it may be less likely to be Ross. With managers and others on fixed-term contracts, it tends to be sack first and sort out the payoff later. More likely possibilities would be negotiating termination payments for senior members of staff on standard employment contracts. Examples here, for example, could be Angela Lowes or Tony Davidson. I'm not sure what kind of contract Hill and Coton are on. Alternatively, there could be delays on agreeing contracts for any incoming DoF or manager.

Fair enough. It's just the bit @Reiver said about them not wanting someone there at the press conference only for them to leave. That could be Davison I suppose, but he sounds like he's been doing well and was something of a coup to attract him here so I'd be surprised if they wanted him gone. Doubt Lowes would be at the press conference. The manager would likely either be involved or asked about it though. Maybe what Reiver mentioned has nowt to do with the hold up mind! Either way at least it sounds like it's done

I'm just doing an airport run but back in an hour.

I'll check my emails and see what people are saying.

All I'd say, to people, is don't start f***ing losing your grip and acting like fannies.

The takeover is happening ...

... we're just not sure of the precise details/timing/future staff.

Haway Lads, don't let the Mags see you flapping ffs
I don't give them any ammunition to fire back at us !!!

I think it was only me mentioned that, and that was total speculation on my part.

Ashley is a fine upstanding owner I read on here who runs a solid stable pl club. So I will do.
Ashley spent a lot of money to get you out of championship then fatty wanted a lot more.

Then add Almiron and this new forward and I think he's spent a canny bit .
