There is a preview going on in the Newcastle thread with Fitzgerald when we get taken over and especially when we start to play well and move up the leagues it will increase 100x

I hope Samaritans put on staff on overtime when it happens.
Whee's Fitzgerald? Thowt he was a pub?

Do any of these rich so and so's you know need a stellar Courier service to service their business needs?

No mate, they're on a different planet tbh.

I'll need some things moving from Beaulieu and Stourbridge at some point, possibly to Bath.

Should be done this week ( we will go for Friday).... There could be "hitches".. But none as yet 😎

Ready to go. Appreciate it!

Sadly my past ITK history has been almost exclusively to do with Ashley and Newcastle, thanks to someone I met through the Sheikh I worked for.

This current Itk-ness is by two coincidences and a friend who's close to the club.

The first source is from an ex-employer, Italian millionaire, who first tipped me off that it was 'an open secret' in the States where he was a fortnight back.
He's very well connected o a higher degree than anyone I've previously worked for..

The second source was someone from whom I turned down a job offer 30 minutes ago. He's a close friend of both Fuhrman and Phelan so I'd have had a constant solid gold information.
It's a real shame tbh but I can't just take a job offer for the latest gossip

But I still have a mate, of decades, who's very close to the hierarchy at the club so I'll post whatever he gives me permission to do.

Once this takeover is all over I'd like to hang my gloves up though tbh, this has been exhausting at a time when I'm technically unemployed for the first time in 40 years.
honest question mate, what is your line of work? is it security/close protection?

He wanted us to run a shooting estate in Berkshire and a similar sized place in Provence.

He's an art dealer, hence his connection with Fuhrman, and his wife is from the Guinness family.

It was just too 'English' for us .... we like people who don't constantly remind you of the cast of Downton Abbey ;)
Sound like guards Ruperts.

Thou from Washington la?

It used to be but I'm 63 now so it's more like estate management/security/staff supervision.

We're considering an offer from an American couple who have a 'holiday manor house' near Bath.

They can only be there 3 months a year so it could be a nice job at our time of life ;)

I dont think Quinn or Phillips were like that mind... or a number of other players for that matter.. Id take a full team of arrogant cocks and strong minds.... (not literally of course... thats not an invitation)

Quinn although being a 'nice man' in the media used to love a good drink and was definitely in with all the craic in the dressing room from hearing his talk ins and stories. Very much a focal point of the dressing room so must have had that confidence. He definitely had the quality.
Phillips has an edge to him and in terms of confidence and quality, it oozed from him.
Anymore laid back when he played he would have been horizontal. Amazing for what we signed him for and where from.

Loved Fr Haverty he was class
He was a lovely, lovely man. I've told this before, but I had to have a meeting with him to satisfy him I wasn't a devil worshipper & agree that any offspring we might be lucky enough to have would be brought up as Catholics. The meeting was scheduled for 10 minutes. Over an hour later my wife & her family were ashen wondering what I'd been saying to him, only to find we'd put the basics to bed after 5 minutes & spent the next 55 discussing The Lads. Yes, a very nice man. True gentleman.

He was, my mam and dads house backs onto the graveyard, he had a gate built in the fence so he could nip through for a whiskey or 7 😍 😍

The point is the bigger picture, that would be just the start, they have said that a company that has more than 250 employees has to give shares to the workers. I’m sure our rich owner will like that after splashing £300 million. Then there would be exchange controls, that could thwart our policy of spending. I like every other Sunderland fan want this takeover to happen, I’m just pointing out how corbyn could knack it for us.
I wouldn't trust Corbyn as far as I could Hoy him, having said I trust none of them.
