I think we all need to just calm down . Let’s see how this plays out eh

Breathe

You take your time and sort you’re hair out it’s a disgrace- also - I heard Ashley will keep nufc for another 5 years and let the ground suffer due to lack of maintenance- when it is condemned he will build a new ground near the airport and will get subsidies - thus making more money- happy days for you
I'd love to stand up for reason, prudence and morality.

I'd love to be able to look people in the eye, in 10 years time, and say we've done it all the hard way.

But, I've had enough of watching average clubs like Man City and Chelsea boosted up to world renowned giants.

Fuck it, buy me a trophy and make it quick

Agree- if the dream comes true then its for all you 60 yr old + supporters- the true grit- the reason we are being bought in the first place

I don't agree.

The new owners will go through the place like a Tsunami imo.

The place is already pretty lean- I think the likes of Kevin ball etc have risen the train long enough- and Ross better sort his defending out or he will be gone -
I'd like to be City without the tourist "fans".

We have tourist fans now- load of Chinese doing selfies at sol the other day- we are famous

After over 40 years supporting Sunderland, romantically being shit in the lower divisions just doesn’t cut it for me anymore. I want to be be tearing teams new arseholes, home and away, year after year.
Exactly right, lads I go to match with, all over 60,same passion and disappointments spoilt weekends and many years of failure.
Give us something to hope for with this takeover and hopefully some glory.
Couple of games with my dad last season, hopefully a few next year(this season), best days of his year spending a match day with sons, grandchildren and great grandchildren this season .
If it’s as good as hoped for and we are all around to enjoy a decade of dreams it will make my old man, this old man and all our young uns to come very happy indeed!

Totally agree marra, I go to games with my two lads, and it won't be long before their two sons are sitting along side us anarl. I would love to see them witness us winning a trophy it would be magical...

Its conceivable that sunderland fans born now will never know another sunderland than the one in the global elite league with 10 titles to their name circa 2030

TBF mate, they always had good support even in their dark days.

The fare NE won't attract day tripping tourists ...

... we'll just pick up lapsed supporters, wavering kids and Mags who realise that living in Seaham doesn't make them a Geordie.

I hate to gan on like but I’m asking this question for myself obviously and the thousands of sunderland fans hanging on your every word;Do you think the owners truly intend to put us up there with the likes of City ?Not just talk like all new owners but genuine intent .

In your opinion obviously ,I know you Havnt a crystal ball.

It does sound far fetch though in the cold light of day ,yes we all want that and I’m excited to fuck about this takeover.

Fingers crossed this all isn’t just a pipe dream and us letting ourselves get carried away .
