Apparently the new owners are opening up an interstellar worm hole, the new signings are coming from the 45th century. The first one in sounds really promising, had his first cap for Airstrip 1 aged only 19 Zodwell I think he's called. Can play midfield or centre back.

I totally believe everything from the Champions League victory to the monorail ...

... but I'm having none of this shite, give your head a shake man!

Nearly on 500 pages  so I’ll add to the tally. I missed the Peterborough game due to illness (fortunate some may say) and I have to say I hope that when this deal eventually comes off, it goes some way to reducing the in fighting on this board.
Its only in recent years, can I ever recall the amount ‘discussion’ that’s gone well beyond banter. If that’s due In some part with our current situation on the field or whether it’s just how we as ‘fans’ generally cope with each other these days, who can say but it seems the place has turned more schoolyard than general piss taking and random craic.
Like I say I sit in Hope that this takeover, new dawn, rise from the ashes, can eventually restore some sort of normality on here. Sadly I suspect, should we ever happen to pull off the ridiculous and actually win something, we’d still get a core of fans that would generally twist, moan, argue, abuse and generally piss on someone else’s chips because they’ve nowt better to do.
I’m as fed up with the rest of people on here. I’m no happy clapper, nor am I a Jack Ross hater. Something has to change and we are possible (actually) on the verge of that actually happening after all the shite we have had served up this could be potentially dish up something most of us haven’t yet tasted. Let’s try not to sour that.

Most people are the same on here mate, just ordinary decent Sunderland supporters who want the best for their club and always keep hoping.

Then there's a tiny minority who want disruption, arguments and everyone to join in with their continual pops at everything to do with the club.

There's no such thing as a 'happy clapper' ...

... wanting things to work out for SAFC is what we all want but no one is blind to the fact we're in the third division and not doing better.

Please tell me we’re calling it the “one in the” Eye
No. It will be at the rear of Morrisons and called the "back eye"

this place is like car in the community for some, it primal scream therapy with football slant.

Scott Sinclair is too expensive for SD I would think, so maybe if this signing comes off it might bean indication that things are about to get going regarding this investment

I’ve missed huge chunks of this thread, had ht been rumoured that Ross will go after the takeover and a new man come in?

I’m not so sure about there being no happy clappers on here though, there are a few posters who won’t have anything said against the club or manager or they label you a doom monger or a wet fanny. Agree though vast majority just want the best for the club.

Talk that they’re not keen on him - would still get a grace period though I’d expect.

Cheers

This. There’s an element on both sides...

They somehow even existed under Moyes ;)
