The change between the first few pages and when the wheels came off..

Someone got it:

Same goes for the 8 Sunderland changes.

This is a league 1s 2nd string ide, and they've knocked 3 past us...

Yeah I noticed that. They thought it was our first team  Then went into a mini meltdown when they learned that we'd made 8 changes.
I agree with Dobson with either Power or Onien. Dont rate McG or Leadbitter at all.

You disagree?

Strange. Leadbitter has started the season very well.

McGeouch was man of the match against Oxford and played well again tonight.

In the higher leagues, I have always been of the impression that we have had a decent first eleven, but overall a weak squad. One thing of note now is that whilst the overall ability is lower, it is a lot more consistent across the squad - so changing quite a few players actually doesn't have such a huge impact.

Its good, as we have competition across the squad too, so players will always be under pressure to perform and train well.

Agreed, it's refreshing.

Some desperate bashers of the team, Jack Ross and the club in general... Grasping at straws trying to put everything and everyone around them down, got five minutes and I'm going to go through this thread and put yas on ignore. Nobody needs negativity.

A canny bitter match report:

Looking at their message board I see Burnley have quickly forgotten themselves.

Great result.
Just watched it and we were lucky in parts and it's about time, no contentious decicions and the ref had very little to do.
The lads worked thier socks off and Burnley didn't give us the respect we deserved at first and were too complacent.
I was surprised to see thier line up with Hart, Drinkwater, Lennon, Bardsley, Hendrick, JRod, Gibson, Vydra I thought they'd do a lot better.

Would love to see the price comparison between our starting line up and theirs.

Well done Jack Ross and SD.

I think someone said their team was around £50m.

A few might have been frees mate. Isn't Drinkwater on loan. In terms of actual value, you'll be right, it'll be more than £50m as I think Drinkwater cost around £25m alone.
That's what I was thinking, he is on loan, but he still has a net worth.

I've counted over 75 mil and that's not all the players.
Cheapest is Bardsley 1.5 mil
