Darren Bent on Quest being the studio pundit for our game now! Praising both Flanagan and Baldwin

Had me moments but all good thanks.
Looks like Embleton had a canny game as well. Involved in the set pieces and put a good delivery in from open play as well.

I was surprised to hear Baldwin and Flanagan get all that praise. Said Baldwin had 16 headed clearances I think.

Well no that isn't all that matters when you are reviewing the managers performance and our prospects for the season. Performances obviously play a large part in that assessment as well

That's the only retort you have?
Not half as eloquent as 'I'm not debating tonights game you absolute Knacker'

Absolutely chuffed about that result. Feel sorry for the millionaire macclesfield fans from Alderley and Wilmslow having to slum their next match in Chelsea or Grimsby though.

Gooch seemed to be very busy and tenacious anarl. I'll have to wait until I talk to one of the lads who was there to get the full story. Could have been a different story if they'd gone 2-0 up instead of hitting the posts, but we had a bit of luck there and with the equaliser. However, the two corners were sheer brilliance and so well executed. Then Burge made two class saves from Woods! Real good team effort and shows we have a strength in depth. Ross will have a right selection headache now, thank goodness 😀

A pointless punt from 60 yards can count as a shot on target. Doesn't act as any form of KPI. Hence I asked what significant saves their keeper made.

One of those 7 was that pointless punt by the right back that ended up at the keeper for instance.

This is presumably an alter for one of the usual whoppers who got banned

Just reading through thread and ignoring Steve3000's look at me posts :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol: but saw this tit for tat with TravellingMackem and West_Winger later on after Peil set TravellingMackem off ;)

What evidence? A shit display against Pompey where they passed the winning goal to us and we created nothing? Lucky point at Ipswich, lucky point at Oxford, lucky win at Rochdale? Please don't rewrite history.
This post gets nee likes (like the ones before)

Sorry, I’ve wanted Ros s gone since the Checkatrade final but only an absolute moron (or a mag - the two are generally the same thing) would say that 8 points from the 12 above is a poor return, added to a comfortable win on Saturday and the beating of a premier
League team tonight.

Let's see come the end of October. If performances don't improve we won't be top of the league at that stage

6 goals in 2 games

“Performances need to improve”

Fuck off.

Hmmmmmm, what to make of that?

Winning a game 3-1 that most thought we'd lose and making it the 5th win in a row (on top of the takeover buzz) but someone wants to focus on the negatives as the performances haven't been good enough so fuck the results :lol::lol::lol:

I'd just enjoy it best you can and so what if we aren't playing like Man City as long as we get goals, wins and points on the board!

Must admit I was concerned after Ipswich because of the manner of the performance. But anyone complaining at the moment is an idiot and a troll.
We haven't achieved anything yet and the run will end sooner or later, but the signs are encouraging.

Agree

Having lived in Macc for 9 months or so recently, I'd be amazed if any regular attendees at Moss Rose were residents of Alderley Edge or Wilmslow
