This Council is a shambles, only concerned about the big wigs in charge on their high high wages.....whilst the local area is run into the ground, I take it you and the preacher are pals who have connections in the City Council.

Regeneration is carried out by people who care about the people and business's of the local area, Sunderland City Council care about neither only the lining of their bosses pockets.

Despite their wealth they're not usually interested in a quick chuckle, their reputations are paramount.

That's why Short wrote off the millions he was owed.

The money is insignificant compared to the way his peers regard him.

I live miles from Sunderland so havent a clue what you are blithering on about.

As an outsider looking in the place is improving but needs more...this Stadium Village looks fantastic and should be supported.

As stated if you are such an expert on regeneration why dont you stand for election and show the Council how its done? Honest question why not? If everyone is useless what is your qualifications and experience to say you could do better?

That’s why it’s exciting in my opinion. They could choose absolutely anything to invest in and if it’s us, there has to be genuine reason.

As I said earlier mate, I'm posting to the many people who know me.

Some have visited one or other of the mansions I've looked after, in the UK and south of France, or seen enough to know who I know etc.

I'm aware that some of this stuff sounds preposterous but if I posted lies there'd be people on here who'd pull me to bits.

I believe it all mate. I’m intending to enjoy every bit of this because I’ve had little else to get excited about over the last 30 years at this club.

Anything else you can feasibly tell us about player recruitment plans??

I think you’re getting the wrong end of the stick tbh - what @Reiver is saying imo is that we should get behind the club, it’s prospective new owners & the authorities to do something for our city - it’s not as if it doesn’t need help, unless you’ve not been to city centre recently
