Perspective needed by everyone. SAFC is dearly loved by most on this board but to these four geezers we are probably number 14 of the 20 investments they are making round the world this month. StewDo will run it for them having had his business plan approved by them. Be great if they turned up to a match but somehow I doubt it will happen. We are tiny financially compared to the pots they manage.

Totally agree mate this is what would make it different ellis just had people in jobs that weren’t good enough i really believe Donald could with the right backing push us on and think he wants to do well

We as supporters did not see this as a right the way they did. With us it was a hope, a dream, with them it was an expectation. They’ve been banging on about rich this that and the other for decades man it’s now hard wired into their DNA. They are arrogant and self entitled. We aren’t.
In the main we got behind our new owners when they took over and bought into what they were trying to do and it looks like it’s paid off.The mags would never have done this as it would have been beneath them. They wouldn’t entertain anyone with less money than would meet their expectations or valuation. Or indeed anyone that would require them to be patient.
There are subtle differences in this scenario which you appear to have overlooked.
