Not so sure Rafa had any remote intention of staying. Mike Ashley said that Rafa would always be wanting more. Said he would call a meeting about a scout or player and then ask about more money to spend, more staff, a certain other player etc etc. He was always pushing to see how far he could go. I can firmly believe that.

Unless you could offer him the staggering level of riches in China, I doubt he'd have stayed. I reckon if you did he'd have just gone to China and said 'Newcastle have offered me XYZ money so you need to offer more'

A very good manager but in it for himself without question.

😂 Nail on the head. All teams want to be top 6, but most keep their heads down and work at it. Not the Mags though with their Wurld Class Waiter and the entertainers tag from f***ing eons ago still think they should be up there and it's only Ashley who is stopping them from actually taking their rightful place.

Wouldn't mind if they were like a Arsenal/Man Utd/etc. but they only had a small time scrapping up their under Keegan!

who in their right mind would want to buy them, knowing that anything less than world dominance will eventually be seen as failure and be met with the tantrum to end all tantrums. they are truly pathetic

I’m going to agree, our fan base need to move on with this Rafa shit, truth is he went for a big money offer.It won’t stop me hating the decision to give the f***ing job to Bruce ffs .Sick of hearing his name, I loved the bloke but his football wasn’t the best but at least I felt stable and knew we’d be in the game.

Sick of negativity, sick of protests, sick of the fans wanting us to get beat ffs, a small amount but howay man.If ya fucked off with Ashley don’t buy his tickets and stop being the f***ing martyrs we aren’t.
