How do you avoid the top 6 if you keep going forwards?

Also, if clubs like Leicester, Wolves, Everton, Bournemouth, Watford and Newcastle all invest and keep moving forwards that's half a dozen jostling for 7th to 12th position.

As you finished 10th that's surely good enough isn't it ...

... is that seriously all you want or are you just trying to avoid appearing the be too 'Magish'.

No matter how many times you repeat the same thing it won't make any difference.

There are only two options,

A) Ashley is lying and doesn't want to sell.

B) He does want to sell and can't find a buyer.

Either way he doesn't want to spend so there's nothing else to say.

The way finances in football have gone I’d take 10th to 15th every season ,I’m just a bit bitter that a bloke most on here knew and many of us know is not that inspiring in today’s modern game was hired.However let’s see what he does, I think the whole f***ing fan base at Newcastle doesn’t know what it wants tbh, it’s doing my head in.

The trouble is, with you Mags, is that you've gone on about it so much, as if you're entitled, that people started calling you deluded.

So now you've had to go against nature and claim you just want a club that tries.

That's absolute bollocks, you're a big club with 50,000 gates and a good following ... why shouldn't you want to win things?

As I said before he even left, as Luke Edwards noted in his piece, the legacy of Rafa is literally going to poison the club and has rendered them unable to accept any successor as legitimate save he is a "world class name". The job is toxic and anyone else, even if not as shite as Steve Bruce, is doomed to fail accordingly.

As you can see by their responses on here, they cannot accept that Rafa left the club on his own accord and desires and are clinging to a belief that he was "forced out" without a choice. They are being duped by him.

One of the biggest differences between SAFC and NUFC fans is that we are not subtle to real deception like that. We are cynical and realistic, they are deluded and carried away by hype. Emperor's New Clothes.

June: News of an arab takeover emerges and this forum goes into meltdown, we discuss the horrors of Newcastle "Becoming a man city side" and one poster stated "I feel sick", Mags mock it on twitter whilst some literally dress up as Arabs.

August: Rafa is gone, the takeover isn't happening and was a hyped PR stunt for a fake sheik, Steve Bruce is now managing the team and they are absolutely shite, with calls for Boycotts all around.

It is really funny how quick things change :lol:

It's ridiculous isn't it .... he's gone to China for one reason and one reason only.

He blathered on about visions, the supporters and facilities but it was all about the money.

Everyone in football knows what Ashley is like, all Benitez needed to do was watch Shearer whinging about him on virtually every MOTD.

I remember the Mags saying he wouldn't leave because his family were here, he enjoyed the challenge of the PL, etc etc etc ...

... now he's fucked off to a nothing club in China because they're paying him loads of money.

No idea how so many people can fail to grasp that tbh :rolleyes:
