People do occasionally shout over at them. I know over the years the players especially Collingwood weren't happy and said "we know who they are". As for yesterday people were just laughing at them in embarrassment but judging by their age they just don't get it in their own world.

Unbelievable that mind, if the players audibly unhappy with them. Yet they continue on.
 
Back to batting for a minute, where’s the good old fashioned Durham batting first collapse at CLS?

You love to see a decent batting performance.

That's the area I try to sit, with what has always been a canny group of people. There's the lady who does the book sales, raffles etc and her brother plus a few other knowledgeable members and one absolute twat who is the fountain of all knowledge and talks incessantly but never seems to watch a ball being bowled! Mind, I haven't been to many home games the last couple of seasons!

The real noisy, pig ignorant twats used to sit either side of the middle steps. Most are Mags and have obviously never played cricket in their lives. On top of that they think every ball should either get a wicket if we're bowling and hit a six if we're batting. They've been an absolute embarrassment for years! You can only hope they move closer to God's Waiting Room or have their membership revoked .........
 
It can be like a lunatic asylum at times, sitting in certain areas of the ground. I presume all of these people were once fantastic club cricketers who always batted, bowled and fielded superbly. Anyway, back to business, it is absolutely tonking it down in Durham City at present, hopefully not heading north.
