Where does JS fit into this? Didn't SD say he would be more involved now that his run for president was over?

The truth will be in the middle. Maja was happy here and probably would have stayed here. But he got offered of more money, to play in one of the top 5 leagues in Europe with one of the biggest clubs in France. What 19 year old wouldn't jump at the chance? I think SD was wrong to paint the agent as the villain of the piece. The agent was just doing what was for his client and this agent in particular has a good track record of getting good deals for young players both on and off the pitch. Maja moving to Bordeaux is no different to O'Nien leave Wycombe or Dobson leaving Walsall to come here.
The truth isn't in the middle. He refused to sign a new contract he'd asked for on the terms he'd asked for. That's all that matters.

Did O'Nien or Dobson string their prospective clubs along with false promises and reassurances? If they didn't then the comparisons are pointless.

I think you'll find PokerStars is the largest real money online poker site in the world, controlling over two-thirds of the total online poker market.

I honestly don’t know how or why people fail or refuse to see this. It was well documented at the time.
He didn’t want to be here.

So if SAFC were offering you £5k a week to play in League One but Bordeaux in Ligue 1 offered you £10k a week you'd stay here? Nobody hoodwinked anybody. He probably would have stayed if he didn't get a better offer from Bordeaux. Anyone he his situation would have done the same.

 I give up. Pointless discussing it if you aren't going to use the real circumstances instead of made up ones which fit your opinion.
