Been doing a bit of reading about them and their last three years have been excellent. Then I read about the “Elite Performance Centre in a rural location just outside the City, integral to the club for years to come etc” and I thought uh oh money invested here. Then I saw the photo of the outside ... canny nice but my garden shed etc compared to us. Having said which 8 goals, clean sheet, 3 games ... I think we might be in for a surprise. Point missed.
I used to live in Southend and went down to that match. When I realized that our equalizer would mean they would likely get relegated I kind of wanted them to beat us. And of course they did.
