Notice the WhatWasTheBeehive is being converted into an Irish bar. Looks like all floors as well - will be a big place.
Also WhatWasBud Bigallows being done out? Anyone know if it’s going to be a pub?

Walked past the other day and there was a banner saying about it being an Irish Bar. Underneath it had summit about live PAs from Rozalla and Sonia, those famous Celtic acts

Is the Borough cheap? I only ever go in there when I'm pissed so haven't noticed. My granda goes in occasionally like and he's tight so it must be reasonable.

Aye mate, dirt cheap. Less than a fiver I pay for two pints of lager. We drink in there before the match on a match day. Shows all the sport, 12.30 kick offs. Not sure where you can go wrong.

The Central has reopened.

Let's hope people actually go instead of not, then moaning it's shut.

Poor choice of ale. Decor is naff. The layout is crap compared to before. Has it also fucked off the jukebox?

If you want cheap lager and sport then as you say, jobs a good un.

Ive only ever seen it since it got done out. No idea what it was like before refurbishment. Always seems rammed on like karaoke nights and stuff. But as I mentioned before I'm only there match days and ticks my boxes for the pre drinking.

Bar in the middle, like an island. Belter of a jukebox, good drink selection and lifting bogs. Tremendous.

Only been in once since it got refurbished. Won't be in again (it was on a neet).

I agree a jukebox is quite pivotal to an atmosphere of a pub, can't go wrong there. I would prefer a jukebox there.

I went after a match once, completely different atmosphere mind. Wasn't a fan of that. Haven't been back after a match since.

Aye agreed. It’s my mates uncle whose taken it over so fingers crossed for them.

Had a look through the window in Flannigans.

and its, carling, fosters, john smiths & strongbow.

 really?

Whats irish about that? They sell Guiness. Everywhere sells Guiness.

The one that it replaced had a shit selection of drinks. It's either going to fail or if drink is cheap enough end up like another Josephs.

Remember the one that on the corner what’s Ps and Qs now? Went in once and the only Irish thing about it was a picture of Niall Quinn behind the bar.
