Don’t understand why the VAR didn’t help her out and overturn it though. Thought she had a good game but the penalty looked pretty obvious error to me (on the replay). Abraham dove imo.

Hardly noticeable which is exactly the way it should be.

You really find it hard to grasp my point don't you? She's reffed a handful of games in the top French league and she gets a showpiece game to make some faceless suit feel smug.

She's reffed in Ligue 1 since 2014
I'm actually not that surprised that she's done well because when a referee has successfully refereed in one of the top 5 European leagues for 5 years you'd imagine they'd step up pretty well, and she did.

How many is a handfull mate? I know nowt about her. Didn't look out of place either way.
I think it's a good move forward if it forces the players to treat the officials with more respect which you'd expect it would. Not a good look to harass a woman like they do the man refs.

About 5 or 6 I think.
She was really good but she's been fast-tracked, and we know why.

Nope. But as long as it makes you feel warm and fuzzy inside it's been worth it.
Only watched the last 15 minutes of normal time onwards. Awful decision for the penalty, no contact. I didn't think it was a penalty live. Terrible VAR to still give it too (not her fault).
Apart from that she looked athletic and kept up with play well. Couple of very soft free kicks.
The blonde lino had a canny set of lungs like
