He got on the ball and actually looked to make things happen. One of only three games I've seen McGeouch do that in his Sunderland career.
If people still aren't getting it, McGeouch doesn't need to assist and score, so long as he's contributing to attacks that lead to chances being created. That means getting the ball to our more creative players. So far he's not even doing that.
In fact, possibly the best thing about his play so far is that him keeping the ball means the opposition can't score.
It's a dangerous game keeping possession for the sake of it.
I dont rate him at all. Very little to his game apart from the pass back to the CB's or GK. Until he becomes consistently more braver on the ball I wont change my opinion.
