I know that, but just a general question. Some saying tomorrow which I swear it is but others saying later for League 1/2?He’s a free agent so we can sign him after the window shuts.

Tomorrow for Championship but L1 and L2 have until 2 SeptemberI know that, but just a general question. Some saying tomorrow which I swear it is but others saying later for League 1/2?
Had a bit of sympathy with Hume on Saturday he was left high, dry and isolated by Flanagan on quite a few occasions.Think people are being very slightly harsh on Hume, who is 20 and had a bit of a ropey first game of the season (and only made a few appearances last season).

If we sign him, and that's a big if, I'd hope it would be a one year deal with us having the option of a second. Certainly don't want to see a 3 year deal for a 31 year old coming back from a big injury.....
Anybody blaming Hume for Saturday's performance doesnt really understand football IMHO.Had a bit of sympathy with Hume on Saturday he was left high, dry and isolated by Flanagan on quite a few occasions.

We asked a kid learning the game to do two mens jobs and be the teams main creative outlet with no support from his 3 underworked defensive partners and with strikers who couldnt be arsed to move very much.
It was a tactical disaster and the blame should be placed at the manager's door and not on Hume.
Great post - Flannagan to blame for not getting across to support him, Ross to blame also.Anybody blaming Hume for Saturday's performance doesnt really understand football IMHO.

Blaming Hume is harsh imho - the underlying reason needs looking at but football is about opinions. He was awful mind. The lad has responsibility for his own performance as much as I agree about the tactics & set up.
Poor in pre season too so hasn’t done anything to win his place which is disappointing
I'm Swedish and I have some fresh info om Martin Olsson. Martin and his twin brother Marcus are currently training with swedish top flight team Helsingborgs IF here in Sweden, they are both from the city Helsingborg and started their careers in a local team here(Högaborgs BK) , same team as Celtic legend Henrik Larsson who is coaching Helsingborgs IF now.
Well anyway, Martin and his brother are not currently fit for a game yet but Martin said in the local news paper a week ago that he feels he can be fit in 2 weeks and ready for some match action. So he is not so far away from being fit but match finess seems far away yet. So if we sign him it's for later in the season, if so he is a good addition according to me.
People around here thinks he and his twin brother are going to sign for Helsingborgs, I live in the city and and have a season card since I'm also a fan of Helsingborgs IF for over 30 years. Martin himself says they are interested but also weighing up their options and looking around both here in Sweden and abroad. The feeling is they are both feeling a bit home sick and want to move home to Sweden. That's just what the local gossip is saying.
