Latest boxing crack

It's shocking tbh.
You could say Eddie hasnt broken any rules and followed the process, but morally I can't believe that people, especially in rivas camp weren't told.
The bbboc need to have a look at themselves and how they've acted.
I'm embarrassed tbh. This is the sort of thing you hear about the Russians doing and believe that we are above that and straight down the line.

Tibbs not being kept in the loop is a bit bizarre.
I assume the vada testing was done just before and after the fight, more than a month after the ukad testing (which I think was a sample from June 17th), and the banned substance could have been put of his system by then? Not too hot on drugs and masking them etc...

Hearn is the biggest hypocrite in world boxing. He went on every channel slagging off Baby Miller about his failed drug test saying he should be banned for life. Yet Whyte has already failed a drug test in 2012, and even worse he promoted the fight between Whyte & Browne ( who's another drug cheat) last year. The man is a complete toss pot..

There's numerous occasions he has said anybody who has been caught twice should be banned for life. Let's see what happens if his B sample comes back positive.

I predicted after the first fight he’ll get beat in the rematch then retire, I would see the point in continuing when you know you can’t beat the champion
Because Fury or Wilder could spark Ruiz, then AJ gets a shot against one of them. Still loads of class fights to be made, and AJ is part of that game, even if Ruiz has his number.

This I don't think there is any need for him to retire if he loses, just fight anybody in the top 10 and win and he is relevant again. Fury and Wilder will still want that payday.

When's the b sample result in? How is it taking so long? It's all so shady and in need of proper reform it's unreal, especially given people's lives are on the and they're literally dying. Shameless.

AJ will get beat up again in the rematch, as he cant actually box, retire and continue to be a model for under armour and Lucozade.

He got a gold medal at the Olympics - what do you mean he can't box.

There's so much polarisation with AJ he's either the best in the world or a bum who got lucky. The reality is somewhere in the middle; he's a world class (Top 3) Heavyweight and could beat absolutely everybody in that division on his day. I think he'll beat Ruiz in the rematch, I think he has enough about him with a full camp and a fire under him to get it done this time.

These reactions to someone taking a loss is why we struggle to see good match-ups being made. He has 23 fights, held 4 world titles (with 6 world title defences) and only been boxing professionally for 6 years. Takes 1 loss; now he should retire???????????????

I agree. Imagine if Manny retired after his second loss. He would have retired in 1999, four years before the Barrera fight. This protecting the 0 does my head in.

If he loses again and his heart isn't in it anymore which does sometimes happen then retire. If he is still passionate about it then there is no need to retire.

The fighter gets some input on when it's tested iirc

Agree with you re. Joshua vs Ruiz. I'm amazed at the amount of people writing Joshua off in the re-match, he might as well just retire now going off some of the comments. He'll be far better prepared for Ruiz now, no surprises this time and people forget that, even though he was well under par in that fight, he almost sparked Ruiz before getting knocked down himself. No idea what the odds will be but I'll be putting a few quid on Joshua for that fight, I'm not even a Joshua fan-boy either.
